Mr*** was provided a copy of our screening criteria when he applied 11/2/Mr*** signed the application stating:
The applicant hereby certifies that the information contained on this fully completed application and all additional information submitted is true and correct, and hereby authorizes landlord/agent to make any necessary inquires deemed necessary to evaluate the application for tenancy and credit standingApplicant understands and accepts that any information provided that is incomplete, inaccurate, or falsified shall be grounds for denial of the application or subsequent termination of tenancy upon determination of such material misrepresentation
He lied on his application regarding his background which was discovered on 11/8/Mr*** was contacted regarding this on 11/9/An Adverse Action form was mailed to Mr*** on 11/9/explaining his denial and steps he could take should he believe the information found in his background was inaccurateMr*** is not eligible for a refund

Mr. [redacted] applied for an apartment with our community. On 11/9/2016 we discovered that Mr [redacted] lied on his application regarding criminal history. When we contacted Mr. [redacted] to speak with him he became agitated, aggressive and was threatening us with a lawyer. I informed Mr. [redacted] that if he was...

obtaining legal counsel I could no longer speak to him regarding these matters and to have his attorney contact us, but as he has lied on his application we would not proceed with the move in. An adverse action form was mailed to the applicant disclosing why he was denied and how he could verify or correct any wrong information on his background. Unfortunately as Mr. [redacted] falsified his application he is not eligible for refund.
