This letter is in response to case #XXXXXXXI will not agree to the terms of the settlementThese accusations are not trueThe consumers were told the shower head in question was a $OPTIONThe consumers did not
know this shower head was even availableI saved them hundreds of dollars versus their original master shower plans
Upon completion of their home, the consumers went to my supplier to verify their final plumbing fixturesAt this time, they told the salesperson that they COULD NOT go over budget on anythingThey notified the salesperson that I was going to give them the shower headThe salesperson told them that the item was not included in the bid packageTensions rose over the shower head
The general contractor stepped in and verbally stated that he would pay for the item, at which time I ordered itAs the item was being shipped, the contractor and the consumers had a disagreementI was notified by the contractor that he would not be paying for the itemThe consumers did contact me wanting the shower head installedI informed them of the issueI immediately offered to provide the shower head to them at my supplier's cost of $and install it for FREEThe consumers became irateI broke off communication as I was called a liar and a thief
The water heater issue was in fact due to a new bybrid water heater that I installedThe heater was a heat pumpUpon final plumbling inspection, the Madison County Plumbing Inspector asked for a vacuum relief valve installedI acknowledged this and performed the task WITHIN HOURS
I would also like to note that the consumers asked me to sign the gas piping in the home in accordance to natural gas as it would soon be coming available in the subdivision even though they are currently on propaneI accomodated that AT NO CHARGE, but as a $cost for meFurthermore, the master shower required custom water piping at a cost of $which I also did at NO CHARGE
The consumer's home is very much up to code, as all my work always isAny concerns about my knowledge or workmanship may be addressed by contacting the Madison County Plumbing Inspector at (XXX)XXX-XXXX
In closing, it is unfortunate that a small business owner does not have a bureau to call to report consumersMy clientele is very affluent, serving very prominent families of this community, including the family of a sitting U.SCongressmanI provide superior service and go above and behond to satisfy my customersHowever,I do not feel that a business should be taken advantage of
