We performed a full home inspection, radon test and termite inspection on this home on 5/20/2015. In the original report, the items this client is complaining about were documented along with recommendations to repair. On 6/25/2015 we performed a re-inspection of the home after the repairs were...

"supposedly" done by the seller. In the re-inspection report there were many items that were not repaired properly. On some other issues, "some" repairs were performed but still needed further evaluation (see reports and photos attached).We have spoken to the client several times trying to explain that the majority of the issues they are experiencing are directly related to the poor/improper repairs performed on the home before they moved in. It is our belief that we performed a quality inspection that fully documented the entire condition of the home as it sat on inspection day. The client is seeking compensation from us for everything that is going wrong in the home when they should be going after the seller, listing agent and or contractor involved.After speaking to the client on numerous occasions, we had initially agreed upon a partial refund of the inspection fee only (the radon and termite were ancillary services and nothing was wrong with either of those). We also had agreed upon the inspector going back out to the home to further document their issues so that they could go back to the contractor who did not perform the repairs correctly. Instead, the client has chosen to continue posting erroneous reviews online and file complaints against us.We believe the reports and photos speak for themselves. We also believe this complaint is not warranted.
