I am rejecting this response because: I totally disagree that the crack in the windshield is from a rock impact I reported that nothing ever hit the windshieldI could run my fingers on the inside and outside of the glass and couldn't feel anything roughIt started out like a worm shape not a divot like the dealership claimsThe *** Field Rep never saw my vehiclePaul L*** who is the service manager scheduled me an appointment with the Field RepI brought my vehicle in that day at 9:amwhich I was told my appointment was scheduled for and the *** Field Rep wasn't there and then he conveniently told me I would have to leave the vehicle because the Rep could show up anywhere from 9-12:Was never told that when Paul scheduled the appointmentI informed him that I wanted to be there when the Field Rep looked at my carHe said it could be anywhere in that hour time frame, so I told him my daughter lives minutes from the dealership and that when the Rep gets there to give me a callHe agreed but I never received a phone callI called the dealership at 10:amand was told he was in a meetingLeft a message for him to return my callHe never called backI then called a second time at 12:pmand was told he was on another call, left another message and no call back again. At this point I no longer wanted to deal with him
When my daughter heard what happened she stopped at the dealership on her way home from work that day to speak with Paul. He claimed that the Field Rep was there, so I asked him why my father was never calledPaul stated he called only one time and no one answered and that he didn't leave a messageThen quickly changed his mind and stated that he thinks he left a message, but wasn't sureI told him that my father was waiting all morning for his call, and he said why didn't he call me My answer to that was he tried times and you never called him back. I informed him I have caller ID and would check to see if in fact he did callThen we preceded to tell me he called my home number from his cell phoneWent to show me and couldn't find my number on his cell and changed his mind again to claim he called from his desk phoneAt this point, I was getting frustrated with him and all his lies, and told him he most have called the wrong number or didn't call at allAfter all that I asked him how the situation could be rectified and what happened to the Field Rep that came outHe then used his cell phone to call the Field Rep while I was standing in his officePaul didn't reach him the first time, so then he called the Field Rep's manager and spoke with him, but not about my father's issueVery strangeHe then tried one more time to reach the Field Rep and was successfulHe informed the Rep that we wanted to reschedule the appointment for him to see the windshield and the Rep stated that he couldn't come back out for another week or moreI said that it was totally unacceptable and then it got even more interestingPaul told me that he took a picture of the windshield on his cell phone and sent it to the Rep's cell phoneHow unprofessional is that? He showed me the picture on his cell and I said you can't see anythingThen came the most interesting words from me to Paul "I guess you are going to tell me that the Field Rep is going to agree with your determination." His exact reply was why wouldn't heThis was totally unbelievable to me since the Rep hadn't seen the vehicleI believe that the Field Rep never came to the dealership that morning and this was why he sent the Rep a picture from his cell phoneI informed him that I was going to have a glass company look at the windshield to get a second opinion I walked out of his office and told him that this was no way to conduct business, and that I wouldn't recommend McCafferty to anybodyWhen my daughter came home from seeing Paul, she told me what happenedThe phone rang and it was Paul calling to inform us that if we were taking the vehicle to a glass facility that it had to be an authorized *** glass facilityMy father and I have been to several different glass facilities and they have all come to the same conclusion, that it is a stress crackSo therefore, his claim that the Field Rep verified that there were no stress cracks is ridiculous. The Field Rep never showed up or saw the vehicle.
As for the extended warranty, I was never given any paperwork as to what was or wasn't coveredJust one paper which included the amount it would cost for the warrantyThe salesman who sold me the vehicle and two different warranties, quit that same night, along with his boss after my sale was finishedI found out about that a couple days later when I called to speak with the salesman in regards to some questions that I had
Word of mouth goes far, and I would not recommend McCafferty to friends or family members if they are considering purchasing or leasing a vehicleDo Not Use This Dealership!!!

This is now going on the 4th week and still no resolutionI spoke to someone named Darren, the service managerAlmost weeks ago, he stated *** would cover the airbag as a courtesy and I would hear something within one weekMcCafferty refused to accept any responsibility for this and it's clear they caused these problemsAlso, this fix isn't being done for the tire pressure monitor system.
I called and left *** a message last week and no return phone to me has been madeIf anyone from the Revdex.com is in this area, it would be my recommendation to stay away from McCafferty for service or purchasing a vehicle.
Thank you,

Since I bought my car from this dealerships I have had issues ranging from sales to service issues that were misleading and liesI bought a *** *** usedI also purchased all warranties available for this carSince getting the car I purchased a remote start from *** that I also had some issues withI would bring it back to *** and they would fix it with their certified technicians
I recently had issues with the car itself and when I brought it into the dealership they immediately said the issue was caused due to the remote start and not covered under my extended warrantyThe 1st time I payed over $to have them "bypass" the remote start to fix the issueThe 2nd time which was Saturday I brought the car in because there was an issue with the brake switch and they told me they couldn't look at the car until possibly WednesdayI needed a car so they gave me a rental and told me it was covered with my warrantyThey looked at the car and told me the issue w

When purchasing a *** ***, I received an internet price $24,in my email Well, the contracted price for the car was revised without my consent, adding an additional $3,700, and told me that the entire price with with the addition of sales taxes, etc To make a long story short, there was a verbal agreement between the seller and myself that the car was going to be sold at $24,price, and they revised the contracted offer They repeatedly mentioned that I already signed the contract, but my mother, an accountant, mentioned that the contract can be revised through addendums and she was livid

Upon purchase of Ford Certified vehicle, the dealership did not have all the proper information and equipment that comes standard with the purchase Namely, there was no ownership manual or tire repair kit included I was told several times that the dealership would send me the materials I followed up numerous times, and again was told that they would send the materials
I have never received what was promised

Review: On 2.1.14 I took my car, a 2010 [redacted] to have a recall issue fixed. I took it to McCafferty. The recall was for a faulty stop lamp switch. Although I didn't have any particular issue with this recall; the recall from [redacted] advised to get it fixed. Not once, since I've purchased the vehicle, brand new did I have even one issue with the electronics. A few days after getting the recall fixed, my tire pressure icon on my instrument panel came on, then went away. I didn't think much of it. A week or two later, then my airbag light came on. On 3.1.14, I took the car back to McCafferty to get these two issues fixed. I was then told the tire pressure monitor sensor is out and the airbag sensor is out. I was advised this would cost over $700. Amazing. I explained that I never had any issue and within less than a few weeks from the recall fix, I then had two sensor/electrical problems. McCafferty refused to fix it without charging me.Desired Settlement: I want this I issue fixed by McCafferty.

Review: [redacted]

Review: On 2/15/2010 I had my 2005 Ford F-150 Supercrew into Mccafferty ford in [redacted], for transmission issues. I complained about shifting and whining noise. The advisor was [redacted]. I was at the shop several times for this issue and when they finally fixed the issue I was told the transmission had been overhauled (rebuilt). My warranty company paid to have this fixed. At the time of service my truck had 64,600 miles logged. On 4/27/2013 I broke down in my 2005 Ford F150 Supercrew at 9:30 at night. When I had the truck towed to a local shop and after evaluation they found the truck had a blown transmission. The F150 had only 81,000 miles on registered at the time of the transmission going the F150 had 16,400 miles registered in 3 yrs. My complaint is, if my engine was fixed and overhauled like Mccafferty said it was, the Transmission should have lasted longer than 16,000 miles. I had to pay for repairs for a new transmission which cost me $2,905.02. I feel if the work was done properly and no corners were cut I would not have had to buy a new transmission. I do not pull anything with this truck. So extra strain on the transmission is not possible. I am looking to be compensated for the cost of the new transmission since, the work that was done on my transmission should have lasted longer than 16,000 miles.Desired Settlement: refund

Response:

In response to [redacted] concerns about his tranmission. The attached document shows that we worked on the transmission on 2/22/2010 over 3 years ago. At that time [redacted] had an extended warranty on his vehicle. The customer incurred no charges at this time. This warranty with Resource Warranties and it expired on 10/2/2010. Of course there is a warranty on workmanship/parts of 12 months or 12,000 miles which ever comes first but this has expired also. It is unfortunate that the transmission has failed once again but we don't know what failed either. As you can understand there are many parts in the transmission anything could have been the cause. Unfortunately we are not in a position to warranty this transmission. 1. We don't know what happened to the tranmission 2. We weren't given the opprotunity to look at the transmission.
