SPOKE WITH [redacted] ON 12/21/AT APPROXIMATELY 3:PMWE APOLOGIZED FOR THE INCONVIENCE HER CAR REPAIRS HAD CAUSED HEREXPLAINED TO HER AGAIN WE HAD DRIVEN HER CAR OVER MILES AFTER REPAIR WAS DONE TO ENSURE IT WAS FIXEDWE HAD NO ISSUE WITH VEHICLE DURING THE SEVERAL ROADTESTS WE MADE AFTER REPAIRSSINCE THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT DID COME BACK ON AFTER SHE PICKED UP WE OFFERED TO BRING HER A LOANER CAR (FREE OF CHARGE) AND PICK HER CAR UP TO BRING BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP TO REPAIR ALSO FREE OF CHARGESHE DECLINED OFFER AND SAID SHE WANTED TO TAKE VEHICLE ELSEWHERE TO HAVE REPAIREDAT THAT POINT I OFFER TO REIMBURSE HER ALL THE MONEY SHE SPENT AT THE DEALERSHIP FOR THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT REPAIR (APPROX $320.00)SHE ALSO DECLINED THAT OFFER AND SAID SHE WANTED THE DEALERSHIP TO PAY THE OTHER SHOP TO FIX HER CARAT THAT POINT I ASSURED MS [redacted] THAT WE WERE WILLING TO FIX HER VEHICLE AT NO CHARGE TO HER OR REFUND HER MONEY, BUT WE WERE NOT WILLING TO PAY FOR SOMEONE ELSE TO FIX HER VEHICLESHE SAID SHE WAS GOING TO TALK TO OUR CORPORATE OFFICE AND GET BACK WITH US [redacted] SERVICE MANAGER,MCCARTHY HYUNDAI [redacted] GENERAL MANAGER

I am rejecting this response because: As they put I did sign a hand written paper with the cost of repairs but at no point was I told the break down of the price givenThey were closing for the day so as I said I felt rushed outIt is very disheartening to see the links they go to to twist not only the truth but now the quotes that I was given by the other Hyundai dealershipsThose quote prices I had where true quotes I had gotten and now they found some way of turning itThen when it comes to the food left in my car that was 100% not mine but that of there employeesTo go and call a customer a liar is not only bad customer serviceI feel very taken and very lied too by McCarthy Hyundai and want them to do the right thing from there mistakes and not only own up but not lie and cheat people out of their money for things there car doesn't need do to the fact my car is broken down again after getting my car fixed twice by them in the past two monthsWhen will they do the right thing by me so I don't have to loose everything I have on my car that they won't fix rightSo until they do I will feel taken and lied to.

To whom it may concern, Ms *** brought her car in on 4/18/We diagnosed her no start condition on her Hyundai Santa Fe per her requestWe found her vehicles starter motor to be bad causing her issueShe authorized the repairs and was fully aware of the repair cost estimateAfter the
repairs were completed is when she brought up the issue with the priceUnfortunately there was nothing we could do at that time being the repairs that she authorized had already been completedAt that time we doubled checked our estimate and it was correctLabor was priced through Alldata, which is a nationally recognized labor time standard and the part was priced at Hyundai list pricing, which is also a national price guide.We did investiate the prices that she was quoted at the other dealersWe called both dealerships anonymously that she got quotes from*** Hyundai quoted us $plus tax (not $274.00) and *** *** Hyundai quoted us $plus tax (not $310.00)These figures are all parts and labor quotes.Finally to address the left over lunch/chips that she claims we left in her vehicleSimply put, that did not happenIt is a STRICT policy that no employee is allowed to eat anything inside a customers carI did speak to the technician personally that worked on her vehicle and he specifically remembers a open bag of chips and other food items that were in her vehicle when it was dropped off.If you have any other questions please feel free to contact me, Doug Miller or my Service Director *** ***###-###-####

There is some truth to this...Customer was in our loaner car and he did damage it to the amount of When we asked him to pay the bill he refusedcustomer became combative and we were forced to call the policethey came out and basically agreed with us...we retained possession of his carI
have since reached out to the customer and have received no call back

In reguards to Mr& MrsLoyalls, Hyundai Elantra, all parts that were replaced on the car were factory Hyundai parts, they were fitted in the exact same holes as the parts removed, the owner requested that the painted partsbeing replaced should only be panel painted, he did not want to
blend the adjacent panels to save moneyHe was also made aware that by not blending panels there could be a slight color difference between panels replaced & existing panels on the carOwner did not have concerns when he first picked up car, he returned days later & we looked at his concerns, we had him bring car back & corrected the issuesWe also replaced the faulty factory turn lamp that rubber seal would not stay in placeIf owner has an issue with the marker lamp we would be more than happy to refund him the marker lamp & labor for the installation of marker lamp. As for the gap issues all gaps were measured with a mm gage & are at factory specificationsThe panels painted carry a lifetime warrantyfrom peeling or delamination
