I had a great experience with our air conditioning installation with McCarthy Services The techs that installed the outdoor unit (Tim and Ryan) were very professional and did a great job managing the removal and replacement of the unit- they removed and installed the units and kept our fenced in area all intact! They were conscientious of the work area and very polite The techs that replaced the indoor coil (Christian and Chris) were equally professional and very knowledgeable Appreciated the whole McCarthy team providing high quality service and competitive pricing

I've been using McCarthy Services for yearsThey have always been very professional and helpfulThey have maintained my HVAC system and also replaced an aging system

Steve came out timelyHe was courteousHe used shoe covers when walking through my homeHe diagnosed my issue and provided me the estimate of what it would cost to repair my AC unitHe allowed me time to consider my options and make an educated decisionOnce I approved the work, he started right awayHe unfortunately had to report that once he started on the changes he recognized some additional concerning issues that would exceed the original estimateHe provided me with options and allowed me sometime to consider my next moveHe was extremely patient and answered all my questionsIn the end he made a temporary fix and made arrangements for me to meet with a sales person to discuss installing a new AC and Furnace in my home as the repair cost and age of my unit was not cost effectiveLater that day I met with Bobby who walked me through my options for new units and the costs for eachHe was also very courteous and accomodatingHe allowed me additional time to review and get more estimatesHe told me to email or call him once I had a decisionIn which a couple of hours later I had decided to go forward with new unitsHe called me back and pushed through the order and scheduled the installWhich will happen later this weekOverall my experience was very positive and I would recommend McCarthy to friends and family

March 25, Revdex.com of Metro Washington DC & Eastern Pennsylvania RE: Better Business Bureau ID# [redacted] [redacted] American Residential Services LLC D/B/A McCarthy Services (“ARS”) has received your email dated March 17, 2016, regarding the above-referenced complaint Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention and allowing us the opportunity to respond On March 1, while working on a water line adjacent to [redacted] **’s line, approximately inches from our line, we grazed a small portion of [redacted] **’s water line We notified [redacted] and subsequently completed the repair of both water lines The inspector verified no leaks were found and that the connections for both lines were in compliance with code requirements ARS backfilled the hole on March 2, after both lines passed inspection with Fairfax County On March 16, [redacted] contacted ARS about a leak in his water line ARS returned to the property for diagnosis with the understanding that any necessary repair to a portion of the line that was leaking from our previous work would be completed at no cost to [redacted] ** Upon arrival, our service professional was able to determine the section ARS previously repaired was not the portion of the line that was currently leaking ARS appreciates the opportunity to clarify that [redacted] **’s water line is approximately years old As a gesture of goodwill, ARS offered to repair [redacted] **’s water line at a discounted rate [redacted] informed ARS that he did not wish to proceed unless ARS agreed to guarantee not only the portion of the line where ARS performed work, but also the entire line Our service professional informed [redacted] we could only guarantee the portion of the line where ARS performed work [redacted] declined further service and requested our service professionals leave the property It is difficult for ARS to accept responsibility for damage to a portion of [redacted] **’s water line where ARS did not perform any work Therefore, ARS would be willing to honor our original offer to perform the new repair at a discounted rate and to guarantee the portions of the line where ARS performs work ARS prides itself on providing premier customer service and appreciates your assistance in resolving this dispute If you require additional information regarding this complaint, please feel free to contact Janice H [redacted] at ###-###-#### Respectfully submitted, Jason C [redacted] Corporate Online Reputation Analyst

Randall was prompt, should up at the front end of the schedule widow which was extremely helpful to me He was knowledgeable and professional

Randall saved us today!!! He came out to perform a routine plumbing inspection, and found a substantial water leak in a copper pipe in our storage room He immediately diagnosed the problem and proceeded to fix it He also changed a bathroom faucet that had a slow drip it was so lucky that he came out today and that he was able to diligently and professionally fix the problems before they became disasters We are extremely grateful for his thoroughness, his patience, and the care he took while working in our home Thank you Randall, and congratulations to McCarthy Services for having such a genuinely nice and super professional on their team

I have been a satisfied customer of McCarthy for the past yearsThey replaced the entire HVAC system in and have maintained it with an annual service contract A technician inspects and adjusts the system prior to the heating and cooling seasonsOnly once was there a malfunction that required an emergency visit Five hours after reporting the issue they identified the mechanical failure, replaced the faulty switch and restored the HVAC system I could not be more pleased with the professionalism and competence of all of the McCarthy Services personnel we have come into contact withHighest recommendation from a satisfied customer
