Our Office Manager counted his money on the shelf in front of him, laying it out, appeared to have all monies there however with the exchange of keys and paper work, she recounted as Mr [redacted] left the building....
She did ask him to hold up yet he did not hear her. Erin asked me then to count the money, since it was in all $20 bills. I came up $100.00 short as she did on her second and third count. I told her at that time to just call Mr [redacted] he can check his pockets and find that he is $100.00 over. Erin did call him several times since he did not answer, once he answered she asked him and he accused her of stealing the money herself. she did say that she couldn't believe he would think she would steal the money when she worked very hard at saving him money on the repair. His bill was about $1000.00 less then what he first expected. Then there was no further contact.As far as the question about the glove box, we needed to remove the glove box to check the wiring to body control computer to diagnose his battery drain and instrument cluster malfunction. Which Mr [redacted] had asked us to look into. What ever was in the glove box needed to be removed and was set in the car until done with the repair at which time it was replaced into the glove box. We do not owe a refund, we will and can take care of any warranty repairs that may be needed. We have been in business for many years and have never stolen or been accused of theft. We have many loyal customers. I feel this is over exaggerated and a large misunderstanding. There was no harassment, There may be six calls to his phone because Erin was trying to make contact and when they did talk there was no further calls. Sincerely[redacted]
