The complainant purchased 20 group tickets to the 07/**/17 and was erroneously quoted a price of $22.50/ticket in Section 414.  Tickets in Section 414 are actually $32.40/ticket.  When complainant came to Yankee Stadium to pick up his tickets, we informed him of and apologized for the...

error.  However, complainant demanded that we provide him with tickets in Section 414 for $22.50/ticket instead of their actual face value of $32.40/ticket.  A ticket representative informed him that he could: (a) keep the 20 group tickets in the seating section (i.e., Section 410) which corresponds with the face value of the tickets he paid (i.e., $22.50/ticket); (b) receive a credit for the 20 group tickets he purchased and pay the difference for 20 group tickets in Section 414 (i.e., $32.40 - $22.50 = $9.90 x 20 = $198.00); or (c) receive a full refund.  The complainant informed us that he would accept the $22.50 tickets in Section 410.  Since complainant accepted the tickets in Section 410 at $22.50/ticket, we do not understand his complaint other than he is trying to get tickets valued at $32.40/ticket for $22.50/ticket.  Of course, if complainant remains unsatisfied, we would be willing to resolve this matter by offering complainant a full refund.  In order to receive a full refund, complainant would have to return the tickets to Yankee Stadium before 07/**/17.  We will not be able to give him a refund absent the return of the actual tickets in complainant's possession or if the tickets are returned on the day of the game (i.e., 07/**/17) or afterwards.  We are unwilling to provide complainant with tickets valued at $32.40/ticket for $22.50/ticket.
