Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Mr [redacted] did tell me in the event of the equipment being lost or damaged due to their negligence they would be liable for that He said the per lb would cover damage from something like a fire, flood, or act of God He clarified this by saying those occurrences would generally be covered under the company who stores the equipment and their own insurance, the would help offset deductibles We agreed it would not be likely a storage client's insurance would not cover damage or loss from the warehouse's negligence and as such, they would be responsible in that case The back of the bill of lading for McCollisters does not say they are not liable if they lose an asset they have in storage as well It is clear someone in their organization removed the device and sidestepped their "safeguards" (bar coded assets, serial number matching) Thus, someone at McCollisters stole the equipment they stored We do not even know it ever made it to their warehouse, yet we paid them for months of storage in advance They charged for storage they never provided and due to their gross negligence in effectively monitoring and safeguarding their warehouse, allowed an employee to steal the items They have nothing where it was signed off or agreed to by Offsite that if there is a loss due to their gross negligence their only obligation is per lb Regards, [redacted] ***

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The response of this business is absolutely not trueAll problems are initiated from their side and they did not do their jobThey were scheduled to deliver the items on Dec but they came in Dec The door was not the issue, the main issue raised from the delayed deliveryMoreover, they were called numerous times after to come and complete their job, but they did not show up They were responsible to bring the biosafety cabinet to the lab in the fifth floor and install it on its base because they removed it from its base at the originThey left the cabinet in the hallway in the first floor and never came back to take it to the final placeOne expensive item was never delivered (The microtome)We need to use it on a daily basis and they were called neumerous times to bring that item but they never didWe have not been able to use the biosafety cabinet and the microtome for over a monthsThey have to finish thei job before they can claim any payments but they have not done the jobIn fact they have cause more damages to us than the original quoted priceThe cabinet is still in the hallway and the microtome is not yet deliveredAll problems caused from their side and had nothing to do with us Regards, [redacted]

1) The original quote request was for an inside pick up and delivery of bio-medical cabinetsIt was not requested by the customer that the cabinets be installedThese type of cabinets require additional manpower and speciality moving equipment for the installation
2) Concessions
were made to our pricing to perform the installation as needed so the project could be completed.
3) The cabinets were not placed in their final location because of building door opening issuesMaintenance personnel were not on-site to remove the doorsCrew was instructed to leave the cabinets in the hallway until arrangements were made
4) The Microtome could not be located during the original pick upIt has since been located and is being stored pending final resolution of this matter
5) None of the original work has been paid for and customer is declining to pay its bill for services rendered

I spoke to *** *** and he provided me with a copy of the correspondence that was sent to ***
The document clearly states that "the equipment would be covered at $per pound released value while in transit back to our warehouse."
In regards to storage rate
charges "$per pound per copier released value while in storage
no additional insurance was purchased as is shown on the customer order form
*** *** did not state McCollister's would be financially responsible to repair or replace the equipment for negligence

This review would have been Stars, but for the fact that someone on their crew stole from me and my family A tub that I filled and packed the morning of our move was untouched by anyone but the crew until the next day, when I opened it and ~$worth of personal items were missing Only the expensive items, nothing cheapUse at your own risk!
