Below is our official response. Our records indicate that all warranty items have been resolved in a timely manner, with the exception of the sod in the back yard. While sod and other vegetation is not covered under warranty, we did note the concern at the homeowner orientation and agreed to assess in the spring At the spring assessment, the sod was alive but did have weeds The front yard, which is fertilized and maintained by the HOA, looks great The trade that installed the sod wants to treat the weeds and fertilize the sod He stands behind his product and has gone outside of the norm to treat the grass, which is a homeowner responsibility. The fence was brought up after closing, and was never mentioned beforehand There was an existing fence on the majority of the homes we built in this neighborhood None were replaced, as the fence was in good shape So much so, that it has survived numerous high-wind weather events since the Guedes family took possession of the home Had the request been made during contract negotiations, we would have priced the home accordingly and installed a new fence We will continue to work with the Guedes family and stand behind all warrantable items[redacted] *** | President

the spring. At the spring assessment, the sod was alive but did have weeds. The front yard, which is fertilized and maintained by the HOA, looks great. The trade that installed the sod wants to treat the weeds and fertilize the sod. He stands behind his product and has gone outside of the norm to treat the grass, which is a normal homeowner responsibility. The fence was brought up after closing, and was never mentioned beforehand. There was an existing fence on the majority of the homes we built in this neighborhood. None were replaced, as the fence was in good shape. So much so, that it has survived numerous high-wind weather events since the Guedes family took possession of the home. Had the request been made during contract negotiations, we would have priced the home accordingly and installed a new fence. We will continue to work with the Guedes family and stand behind all warrantable items.[redacted] | President
