In regards to the complaint(ID [redacted]) filed by Mr. [redacted]. It is riddled with false accusations. I saw all pictures that were emailed to
McComb Wholesale Carpet; I, also...
accompanied Mr. [redacted] to the home of Mr. [redacted] to see the condition of the floor.
I explained to the young couple before the final decision to purchase and lay the floor in their new home that common sense must be
used when caring for any floor covering, Just like wood or laminate felt coverings should be placed under the legs of any heavy item or
before any items were moved if not lifted, so not to tear the floor. They understood they liked the floor and it was installed.
Before they even moved in the company they purchased their appliances from ripped the floor in the process of putting in the refrigerator.
Mr.[redacted] filed a claim on his homeowners insurance and was paid to have the entire kitchen area replaced with new floor. He instead
decided to let the installer patch the existing tear, therefore pocketing the remaining funds.
I explained to him as did Mr. [redacted] that these claims take time. As with any paperwork that passes through many different companies
hands. The material warranty would cover the material but Mr. [redacted] could not speculate on whether or not the labor would be included.
It is completely false that Mr. [redacted] did not tell him that the claim was completed and that we were credited for the material and
the labor to install the new flooring. I am not denying that he said it looked as though someone had fallen back in the furniture
or that it was shoved because the pictures and what I saw led to that assumption. We have the credit because we purchased the floor, we
installed the floor; therefore, we should be given the opportunity to stand behind our work as well as our word we will replace it with new
but we will not give him the money to pocket as his past occurrences' have shown.
