Dear To Whom it May concern We sold a dodge ram pick up with ,mile on it as is on June to *** ***I was advised that customer had taken in to there mechanic and advised that transmission needed to be rebuilt Our general manage Rob B*** approved to repair the
transmission for customerWe removed and disassembled transmission ,ordered parts which several where back ordered due to age of vehicle when parts came in we reassembled and test drove (test drive miles) returned vehicle to customer Customer picked vehicle up called to say when they got about home transmission templight came on and shifted out of overdrive (min drive from our dealership)We advised to bring vehicle hack, customer returned technician check fluid condition ---condition ---level a little above full-corrected ---checked for transmission over heat codes none stored in vehicle ----this vehicle was test drove several times with no duplication driving min to a hour each time .We returned vehicle to customer due to not able to duplicate concern after several drivesCustomer called say vehicles templight came on when they where just about home (minute drive from dealership) I advised customer I would make arrangements to pick vehicle up hoping that test drive from customers home to here would duplicate concern to take right into shop .7/30/We picked up vehicle customer left key in door for us to pick up drove back could not duplicate concern ---no light, no codes stored, no fluid condition showing any heat We test drove this vehicle several times for the required length time need to duplicate in the hottest days of summer with no duplication We had test all components related to transmission heat several times but everything was with in specificationWe replaced transmission oil cooler due to if we did a large amount of manual shifting uphill when it was extremely hot we could get temperature of transmission to go upWe drove several times after transmission cooler replacement up shifting a lot and transmission stayed coolIt took employees hours plus to redeliver vehicle to customer I was point of contact for this customer and at no time did she tell me not to return truckDue to I'm sure her busy schedule it was hard to talk to her thru this whole process but we did agree to pick up and redeliver vehicle when it was done and that's what we didCustomer called on 8/25/and left a message to call her I returned call 8/26/15 10:left message to call me back as of today customer still has not called back which is the same as several other times messages have been left to call usAs to vehicle not starting this has no relation to transmission overheating after several miles and could be as simple as a battery in a year old truckWe're very sorry for the customers inconvenience but intermittent concerns that are undetectable are very difficult to repair and we made every effort to make customer happy with there choice and we feel confident that transmission concern is correctedVonia H***

Dear to whom it may concern I apologize for the delay in answering we did not receive a first notice and didn't receive second notice until August 21 fri , First we are not under new management and have all records on Mr. [redacted] with no warranty repairs on this component. Also due to customers...

concern I looked at Chrysler warranty repair history on the vehicle and only found 0l/22/2008 accelerator Pedal repair. This vehicle came in 11/13/2014 at 76155 transmission had never been serviced and band was extremely loose fluid very dark (service intervals are every 30,000 miles) We service transmission and adjusted bands and at this time. Customer returned 3 months late 4,000 miles later (2/06/15 miles 80,174)with vehicle not moving at this time we found front band failure rebuilt transmission and vehicle left. Then on 3/16/2015 vehicle returned 80,861 no first gear we replaced solenoid due to was advised had had some faulty from factory returned vehicle. Vehicle returned 5/18/2015 worked with Chrysler engineering everything test good at this time replaced wiring harness internal on valve body at no charge to customer mccords paid due to customer having to return, returned to customer shifting as designed returned 6/09/15 worked with engineering was advised to put borgwarner sensor in( which is a aftermarket application of the solenoid we had put in)transmission spoke with district rep from Chrysler and good willed repair and reimbursed customer tor towing. Vehicle returned 6/23/15 worked with engineering again was advised that there was a intermittent short causing failure to solenoid. Mccord paid many hours of electrical diag and discount ecm 800.00 for customer not because we did something wrong but because he was our customer and felt for his trouble. I think he had two concern one lack of maintenance that caused a transmission band failure and a intermittent electrical problem. I feel we did everything we could and are sorry for his concern. We show no maintenance or repairs on this vehicle under warranty on the transmission thru Chrysler or our system that goes back to time of sale. Thank you for you time Vonia ** H[redacted]

Dear: Revdex.comPO Box 1000DuPont, WA 98327
To Whom it May Concern:
We rotated the tires on Mr. [redacted]'s 2013 Ram 3500 on 10/15/2015. We rotate onlyand do not balance tires at our location. Per my conversation with Mr. [redacted], if we haddislodged a wheel weight or damaged wheel, causing a...

shimmy, I would havebeen more than happy to pay for the repairs .But, neither place that he took the truckstated that had happened. He just needed to balance the wheels, which isn'tunrealistic for the mileage on this vehicle.
Mr. [redacted] also waited three months to return or make us aware of the problem. Out ofgoodwill, we reimbursed him for the rotation because he needed more than a rotate. He needed a rotate and balance, which costs more. Usually, we will rotate first andthen, if needed, take the vehicle to get a balance can save the customerabout $40.00, because there isn't an unnecessarily balance being done. The only wayto cause a vibration or create need for a balance when completing a rotate is if awheel weight is dislodged, which we were informed did not happen. It is possible tohave a tire out of balance, that when moved to a new position can cause a vibrationand need for a balance.
We are sorry for any inconvenience, but cannot correct what we did not cause.Yours faithfully,Vonia H[redacted]McCord Bros., Inc.Parts & Service Manager
