McCormack's Flooring

I purchased flooring from McCormick flooring 2 years ago. The flooring I chose was a scratch free hardwood floor. The original floors I purchased were not available at the time of scheduled installation so I was lead to believe that I was given a higher quality flooring at the same price. Within 6 months of purchase, I had noticeable scratches in my flooring that took me 18 minths to pay off at a total over 4000 dollars.I tried various ways and talked to other flooring experts about the removal of the scratches and was unsuccessful. I went to McCormick flooring before the Christmas holidays and was told he and his floor rep would pwrsonally come out to see the floors. I waited over A month before making my second contact with McCormick flooring and was told the floor rep was off for the holidays. It was not until the later part of Jan that they arrived at my home to take pictures. I was contacted and told they would have a decision made about my warrenty within a few days. I still have not recieved compensation, notice of action, a phone call, a letter, nothing.I called McCormick flooring two weeks ago and was told that I should receive a letter from the flooring rep and I explained that I have not received anything. I asked to have the flooring rep's phone numbet and was told it was against the law to give that information out. At this point I have scratched floors and no resolution or even common courtesy of this business to honor their own mishap.Desired SettlementI would like the current flooring replaced with the the original flooring I selected. She first picked out a 5" hardwood but she didn't want to wait for it to be made so she chose a 3/8' hardwood.She came into my store to buy more hardwood for 3 other bedrooms and told me about her scratches. I told her I would get in contact with the Rep and send him out to look at her floor.She came in over the Christmas Holidays and I told her the hardwood factory was shut down for 2 weeks. It takes time to process a claim.The Rep and I went to her house and took pictures of her floor. She has dogs in her house that had scratched into her hardwood with their toenails. The Rep sent me a letter concerning the floor. She said she would be by to pick it up. She never came so I MAILED her the letter that was sent to me. The statement I made to her was the Rep did not want us giving out his Tel #.About a week before the letter was mailed she came in to the store cursing and mad and said she was going to sue. I told her that she would be getting a letter. That I don't stand behind the warranty personally, that the warranty comes from the manufacture. I was trying to help her. My job is to turn in the claim then it is up to the manufacture from there on.I don't appreciate her turning me over to Revdex.com.
