Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to meAfter I got a call, I was happy with what they said
Sincerely,
*** ***

To whom it may concern,My name is *** *** General Manager for Bob McCosh Chevrolet Buick GMC Cadillac, I have personally spoke wit Ms*** about his situation since the complaintI explained to her the following, her credit union was at a 3.3% rate based on a month term, at that
current rate the amount she was financing would have been $per month, Ms*** stated she wanted to be $or lessAt that time *** *** our Finance Manager reached out to *** *** and got an extended term that was 4.6% for months, this got her payment in the desired range . *** and I explained in our phone conversations that when the lender extends the term the rate will go up at her credit union or anywhere elseMs*** seemed to understand this, we also told her she could refinance the vehicle anywhere she wants too with no penalties she said she would look into that I believe after these conversations Ms*** is satisfied. Sincerely,*** ***

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:The engine in the 2002 Corvette is not new. If the engine was NEW there would not be:1)  An After Market Timing chain.2) An After Market Oil Pump.3) 3 Stripped out bolts on the Cam Cover.4) An O-ring missing between the oil pump and pickup.5) A crankshaft that moves .093 inch when it should be between .003 and .005 inch.6) A bolt that was finger tight on the harmonic balancer which broke in the first 2500 miles of ownership.7) The block would have a serial # and does not.and it would not leak oil from the rear seal. Also, 1)The invoice shown to me at the time of the sale and again with your proof of warranty has a bogus part # for the LS6 Engine.2)The warranty shown to me does not have a part # or serial #3) After talking to the Bob McCosh service dept., I was informed there was no Warranty on this car. After speaking with [redacted], the previous owner of the car, he stated that he ordered and paid for a NEW Chevrolet  ZO6 crate Motor for the car and that he has never had any upgrades to the car such as the timing chain or oil pump.My salesman [redacted] sold me the car with the understanding that [redacted] purchased the New ZO6 crate motor and it was installed by Bob McCosh and the warranty followed the car.I am not denying you replaced the motor like your carfax shows, but there is zero chance that this was a new motor roughly 3000 miles ago.I was able to talk to [redacted] the General Manager of Bob McCosh on 7/14/17 regarding this issue and was supposed to get a call back from the service manager on 7/17/17, that did not happen. I have tried to call [redacted] on numerous occasions and have left voicemails and have not heard a word since are 7/14/17.It looks like this engine more likely came from a junk yard than from Chevrolet.
Sincerely,
[redacted]
