McCoy Homes was contracted to build our home and construction was completed in June of Among several ongoing problems we have had since moving in, the driveway has been a topic of concern and discussion since construction was underwayThe driveway is gravel, approximately feet to the nearest paved roadWater runoff was discussed from the very beginning as it became an issue for the construction crewA good amount of runoff originates on the North side of the driveway and it was made known several times the need and importance of making sure that water had a means to get to the opposite side of the driveway so it could flow into a natural drainage areaThose provisions for water to cross the driveway were never made and the driveway is graded in such a manner that the water flows directly down the driveway and has completely washed out about feet of itCorrecting this was discussed during construction and has been a constant topic since we moved in
