Dear [redacted]:In regards to the complaint filed and dated 12/26/2014, ID # [redacted] regarding McCrea Heating and Air Selling practices.Attached is a copy of the original signed contract between McCrea and [redacted] dated October 13, 2011.The contract clearly...
states all options for equipment and services provided for the proposed work chosen by the customer and performed by McCrea. [redacted] has a “10 year parts contract” not maintenance coverage. I have enclosed the signed contract regarding the maintenance coverage on page 3: Section 4, letter B, it states that McCrea will include a (2) year labor, as well as a (3) year preventative maintenance agreement. We have honored the written maintenance agreement as expected and have completed two inspections on November 14, 2014. This is the first response to any of our postal notifications and/or phone calls regarding the maintenance coverage inspections since installation. McCrea practice is to mail out a post card notifying all contract customers that the annual spring/fall maintenance scheduling is available, (2) two times per year. I have attached copies of all signed contracts and signed service ticket history for this customer and a copy of our postcardmailer. McCrea has recorded no other service calls for [redacted] at this time. It is our hope that this will clarify the situation.It was a pleasure to be of service. I am rejecting this response because:
The central focus of our complaint, which McCrae has not addressed, is that we assumed that the verbal promise made by Mr. Adam L[redacted] to provide a free 10 year maintenance service would be honored when we signed the contract with them.
