After I put Ms***'s roof on she was satisfied with everythingThere was an outstanding balance upon completion because she had to wait for her insurance company to issue the remainder for the roofI told her I would wait until that check came in to collect itafter two weeks I had not heard anything so I called her insurance company to make sure everything was in orderThey informed me the check had been cut and she should have itAt that point I attempted to contact Ms***I could not reach her so I left a messageOver the next three weeks I left her several messages and even texted her but I got no responseSo I went to her house and found she was at homeShe told me she got my messages but didn't respond because she had complaints about the roofI asked what her issues were and she waived in the general direction of the roof and said it wasn't done rightI told her that I needed specifics so I could address themEverything she said was an issue I got on the roof and looked at and attempted to resolveShe told me that wasn't good enough and so she still wasn't going to pay me what was owedIt was at thispoint that I told her that if I wasn't paid that I would have no choice but to put a lien on the houseI even offered to let her have a third party of her choice come and inspect my workI even offered to pay for it with in reason

My offer standsIf Ms [redacted] feels something wasn't done correctly I will pay for a licensed inspector or roofing company to come out and check my work and fix any issues they findAs long as the fee is within reason and I can be present for the inspection

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint I have attached Mr*** email that he sent me after I address the issues concerning the roof His response was I appreciate all your feedback and will take it into consideration on the next job I doSounding sarcastic, and mocking the fact that he had no intention of addressing the issuesand that he would continue soliciting home ownersI asked Mr*** several times prior to 6/23/to address the issues and again on 6/23/He refusedthat's when I realized I had been scamedHe said he got on the roof and attempted to resolveThat makes no sense, because I wanted the issues resloved I waited patiently for Mr*** to come back with the roller and to address the other issues that is why I was holding the 2nd checkHowever, he did notI asked him on 6/23/did he bring the roller and he stated no and he wasn't going to Mr*** never said he would pay for a thrid party inspectorEverBecause I would have taken him up on thatFuthermore, roofers are not allowed to go door to door soliciting home owners and driving thru neighborhoodsMr*** is simple out for the moneyAnd why would he call my insurance company? That's interestingbecause I doubt that they would even speak to him concerning my home insurance. Sincerely,
*** ***

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Mr. [redacted] did call me on 7/23/2015 and stated 'he would pay for some one to look at the roof if they don't charge him much money".  I explain to [redacted]  that I would place calls to request someone come and check out my roof. Keep in mind I do not know any roofers.  However, after being scamed by [redacted] I was willing. Futhermore, Mr. [redacted] did not say he had to be there.  And, After the incident on 6/23/2015, when he climed on my roof and  literally begin pulling up shingles as well as cutting shingles with his pocket knife. And his email indicates that he did everything I mentioned, because he did not deny it.   I don't want him on my roof again. Nor, did he address the replacing of the flashings or the valleys.  I signed a $3674.33 check over to Mr. Mcrory on 5/20/2015 the first of two for a new roof, a total of $4328.09. That was my mistake for trusting him. Because, had I known the end results I would have never signed that check over to him. Futhermore, I should have received a contract for Mr. [redacted] on 5/20/2015 when he took the check. Not a modiified one in the mail on 7/6/2015.
Regards,
[redacted]

After I put Ms. [redacted]'s roof on she was satisfied with everything. There was an outstanding balance upon completion because she had to wait for her insurance company to issue the remainder for the roof. I told her I would wait until that check came in to collect it. after two weeks I had not heard...

anything so I called her insurance company to make sure everything was in order. They informed me the check had been cut and she should have it. At that point I attempted to contact Ms. [redacted]. I could not reach her so I left a message. Over the next three weeks I left her several messages and even texted her but I got no response. So I went to her house and found she was at home. She told me she got my messages but didn't respond because she had complaints about the roof. I asked what her issues were and she waived in the general direction of the roof and said it wasn't done right. I told her that I needed specifics so I could address them. Everything she said was an issue I got on the roof and looked at and attempted to resolve. She told me that wasn't good enough and so she still wasn't going to pay me what was owed. It was at thispoint that I told her that if I wasn't paid that I would have no choice but to put a lien on the house. I even offered to let her have a third party of her choice come and inspect my work. I even offered to pay for it with in reason.

My offer stands. If Ms. [redacted] feels something wasn't done correctly I will pay for a licensed inspector or roofing company to come out and check my work and fix any issues they find. As long as the fee is within reason and I can be present for the inspection.
