The information that the client is claiming is and inaccurateIn summary The client had a budget of $10K not to go over. They did not want to replace the walls and the basement was a storage room with black mold, torn up walls, doors and trim by their pet. The
client delayed the work via paint selection, floor selection,an electrician installing recessed lights but once they purchased a new car the second week they started to critique the work already completed where they had already approved and said they were satisfied. Then when it came time to pay at the end they chose to find fault in ALL the work that was done and claiming that "promises" were made of perfection by the business along with complaining that supplies and charges were fraudlent. Tried to meet with the client for three days straight to discuss and the client avoided all phone calls and meetings and only sent text and emails of what a bad business it was and unprofessional and finding excuses NOT to payThe business proposed a compromise amount of payment the client still accused the the business of deception and refused. When the client was asked what needed corrections the client chose to draw all over the walls defacing the work which would require painting all the walls. Ultimately entire new walls would have to be installed (which was recommend by other business which would cost the client close to $10K more in labor and the client refused that option with this business also) at cost to the business to meet the clients satisfactionThe business decided to leave the job with the walls defaced by the client and not further continue to work in a hostile and unsafe environment
