On more than one occasion, McCullough missed a collection day. I called the company and requested an adjustment on that month's bill. This is a service company; I did not receive the services, therefore an adjustment was in order. I requested this adjustment the second time we were skipped, giving them the benefit of the doubt the first time. The woman who handles the phones at the company was unbelievably rude. She stated she could do nothing about the situation. I asked who could and she said the truck scheduler. I asked for him/her to call me back. The service representative stated that she would pass along the message, but that no one would call back. I dropped the matter. Now, I called to ask about pick-ups for customers whose collection day was Christmas. Again, I was met with rudeness, but did get the information that the day after Christmas would be the recyclable pick up day. It is now three days after Christmas and the recycle bin is still in the street. I called this morning and asked that my service be cancelled. The rude woman said OK and hung up--no information about when they would pick up their bins, how the billing for the service would be resolved, just a total lack of concern for losing the business and tying up loose ends--getting their property back included. I would not recommend this business to anyone and can't understand how they have stayed in business with such unconcerned rude behavior being the norm toward their customers. The only resolution I am looking for is the information as to when they will come get their containers. There is nothing that would change my mind, and experience tells me McCullough wouldn't try anyway.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:[redacted] failed to contact us in any capacity and certainly did not "tell [us] to take [any amount] off". I have not sent payment because the statement received from McCullough says no refunds will be issued after payment is made, and we wanted (and requested, multiple times) an accurate statement for our records. In multiple dealings with [redacted], she has proven herself to be dishonest, uncooperative and has exhibited bullying behaviors with several customers, and we are not comfortable sending payment for any amount until we have an accurate statement in hand. We informed McCullough Rubbish Removal of that twice in writing, when we requested said statement be mailed to us.
In addition, we are not willing to pay the service charges they have added onto our total as they are a result of McCullough's inability to send an accurate billing statement.
For this to be resolved, we would like McCullough to mail us a statement reflecting the total charges for the months we actually received service and without additional service charges. We will happily remit payment once we receive that document, as we have stated several times.
Regards,
[redacted]
I have never spoken to someone as rude as the lady who handles dispatch for this company. Ordered a dump and return for Friday dispatch sent truck on Thursday and was upset that the bin was not full. That is why we ordered the dump and return for Friday She is so rude 'WE WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY AGAIN"
Review: My husband and I have lived in our home now for 3 years. The previous owner had cancelled the trash service and the company was told to pick up the can. This never happened the can has been at our home and we are now getting a bill for over $1,000 when we have NO written contract. My husband called to resolve this situation. The woman that answers the phone is completely ignorant and will not speak to you in a civil matter. My husband made a verbal agreement with this woman to pay her $90 and we would be done with them. It is now 4 months later and the check has not been cashed. I have now stepped in, when I called to speak to this woman I could not believe the way I was spoken to. After asking her multiple times what her name was and her supervisors name was she told me her name was Theresa and her boss is Joe. I asked to speak to Joe and she said "No you can not speak to him". At this point now in the conversation I told her to please come get the trash can and have it off of my property by end of business today 9/12, She then stated NO again and that she will in-fact pick it up on the 18th of September. She also stated that she will be sending me another bill in the mail and I have to pay it.Desired Settlement: No to have anything to do with this company. No bills no contact what so ever.
Review: We canceled our service with McCullough on October 1, 2013. We were billed for service all the way through November 1 2013, however, despite not receiving service for that month or being under contract until that time. I contacted McCullough on November 15 after receiving their bill informing them of such and requesting that they send us a new statement that accurately reflects our service dates as well as removes service charges for billing errors made on the part of McCullough. I received no correspondence from McCullough for 6 months following my letter, and then received another statement on May 14, 2014. Not only did they still not adjust our billing amount, but they added yet another service charge. I cannot reach them by phone and they do not have a business email address, and I have sent them 3 letters requesting that this be resolved. Their statement says absolutely no refunds are issued once payment is made and so we've been unwilling to pay the full amount and seek reimbursement from them after the fact. They have not called me or reached out to me in any way.Desired Settlement: We would like them to send us a statement that accurately reflects our service dates.
