McDonald's (2800 Atlantic Ave)

Review: On September [redacted], 2013 I left work to have lunch at the local McDonald's at [redacted] in Brooklyn NY. My car was parked at the McDonald's parking lott and I went inside to order my food. I ordered my food and sat inside the McDonald's restaurant to eat. I was done in 15min and left to go to work. When I stepped to the parking lott my car was gone. An employee cleaning up outside McDonald's informed me that the car was towed. I was flabbergasted. I asked to speak with the manager and when we spoke the manager was very rude and obnoxious. He did not want to be bothered with my situation. He informed me that they are not responsible for towed vehicles. Not sure how, when I was parked on their private Lott and eating inside their restaurant. I never left the premises. Also, I was only inside McDonald's for less then 15min. The staff at McDonald's made no effort to announce to its customers that a car was being towed, nor did they ask to assist in the matter. The manager did not want to be bothered and dismissed me any way he could. The manager gave me a number to call that was hung inside their restaurant. Already a sign that the towing company and McDonald's seem to be working together. I called the towing company and the representative informed me that they had my vehicle and it would cost me $210 to get my car back. I tried to explain to them that I was inside McDonald's the entire time and they had no right to tow my car. The towing representative did not care and repeated their price. Needless to say at the end I paid $215 to a towing company that did not seem legal. Also, it is unfair how the manager at McDonald's is letting the towing company treat their clients. An announcement should be made to customers if towing is taking place on their Lott. It is bad business all around.Desired Settlement: I will like McDonald's to reimburse me for my towing fee's. Responsibility needs to be taken for the action of the towing company that they allow to move vehicles off their private Lott. I was a paying customer enjoying my lunch break at their restaurant when my car was removed off their property. I will also like an apology from the manager at that McDonald's for his lack of customer service skills and his rudeness.
