claiming that the vehicle was not running. She has driven this vehicle for 3065 miles when she brought it to us on 07/05/2016. Customer mentioned that her AC and steering wheel are not working properly. I urged her to bring the car in ASAP and then I followed by calling and talking to her three times to bring it in. She drove it for over 3000 miles before she finally brought it in. I informed her that the AC is not part of the warranty but I will fix it for her due to the inconvenience. I spent a total of $541.52 fixing her car and she paid a $100 deductible. Dealer paid for all repairs on 07/19/2016. We had the vehicle for 2 weeks not 3 based on the date she provided and the final shop receipt’s date. Next, the [redacted] Standard warranty does not cover car rental. Only Elite package do have rental coverage and this customer was well aware of her warranty limits and a copy of the contact was provided to her at time of purchase as well. We offer a standard warranty for free as part of a promotion to give peace of mind to our customers purchasing a used vehicle with high mileage. No dealer with these type vehicles has a program similar or close to our program. Let me share some data with you to shed some light on this vehicle that was not running or had so many mechanical issues as she mentioned. She purchased this vehicle on 05/28/2016 and as of 08/25/2016 she has driven this 2007 [redacted] for 6386 miles. Not even 3 months. Let me give you the real reason this complaint was filled with you. [redacted] purchase her 05/28/2016, she has to pay $179.41 every two weeks for 2 years. Her 1st payment on 06/11/2016 was made by check that was returned unpaid by her bank. We have not received that payment till 06/30/2016, where even her 2nd payment was late by 5 days. Her next payment was made on July 11th and it was due on the 07/09/2016 and of course she was 2 days late then the following payment was made on 07/28/2016 and it was due on 07/23/2016 and it was 5 days late. We have not received any payments for the month of August where we were forced to repo the vehicle on 08/25/2016. This date is also was the day that this complaint was filled.
