Tech was at home for 40 minutes. Received bill for $358. When asked how $175/hr turns into $350 for less than one hour, tech said $99 was for "video inspection" for which I never received a copy of. If I would have been told there was a fee for video inspection, I would have declined as I have no interest in what a sewer pipe looks like inside. Since I did pay the $99, I simply would like to receive a copy of the inspection which they claim on the website.
This customer never called us. If he had, this would have been resolved within seconds.
It appears there are two issues, that he is unhappy with.
#1. The Drain video. We do not trick our customers into a video. If he did not request it we gladly will refund his money for that. And as far as him receiving the video, when we take the video it is stored on a flash drive, we do not immediately give that to the customer because we want a copy of it for our records. So that flash drive needs to be turned in to the office and then uploaded to our server. We were at his house on a Wednesday, an email was sent the following Monday with the video.
#2. The amount of time there. Attached below is the email that was sent to *** on Monday January 7th. It details the time we spent at his house and drive time. We tell our customers on the phone that there is up to 30 minutes of drive time, one way. For him it breaks down like this:
21 minutes drive time
15 minutes diagnostic time
38 minutes service time
15 additional minutes of service time
1:29 Total minutes charged to him
Plus
24 minutes Not Charged for when auger was stuck in city line
