MCE Plus is on a list of Contractors for our home owners insurance, which they recommend for repairsWe went with MCE Plus to come out and see why our AC unit was not working correctly*** from MCE Plus came out on July 31, *** went up into the attic checked out the AC unit and explained that the line is plug and will need to be correctedWe agreed for *** to fix*** said the cost for this service is $Once completed *** was seen by my mother in law carrying something white in his hands*** return we paid him and he leftAround 2:30am I received a call from my wife telling me there is water draining inside our wallsI arrived home around 3:30am and head up to the atticThe line to our water softener was missingAnd the system cycled the water inside of our homeI know the line was connected, because I went up in the attic to see if there was something obvious wrong with AC unitI called the water softener people and they sent out the Technician who installed the

On 2/24/2018, MCE PLUS A/C TECHNICIAN ARRIVE AT MY HOME AROUND 1PM TO SERVICE MY AIR CONDITIONING.I WAS AT WORK , BUT UP ON MR *** ARRIVING MY WIFE CALLED ME TO LET ME KNOWI SPOKE WITH MR *** ,AND GAVE HIM THE OK TO SERVICE MY AIR CONDITION.AFTER ABOUT THREE HOUR OF SO,MY WIFE CALLED TO LET ME KNOW MR *** WAS DONE ,I ASKED HER HAVE SHE PAY MR *** SHE SAID YES ,AFTER SPEAKING WITH MY WIFE MR *** SPOKE WITH ABOUT THE WARRANT ,THEN HE SAY THAT EVERY THING WAS WORKING GOOD,I SAID OK AND THANKED MR *** MR *** REPLACED MY AIR CONDITION EVAPORATOR COILI PAY MCE PLUS THROUGH MR *** $FOR SERVING MY AIR CONDITIONI MADE IT HOME AROUND 6:PM, I WALKED IN THE GARAGE WHERE MR *** DID THE WORK THE FIRST I NOTED WAS WATER RUN DOWN FROM THE SLAB OF CONCRETE THAT MY INDOOR AIR CONDITION UNIT AND HOT WATER HEATER SIT ONTHE TWO UNIT IS ONLY TWO AND HALF INCH APART.I NOTIFY MCE PLUS BY PHONE ABOUT MY FINDING OF

AHS sent Richard T*** from Mce Plus Marietta for an air conditioner problem He did not complete the job was very unprofessional and claimed he fixed the problem He spent minutes at my home never checked if the unit was dispensing cool airHe never checked the freon or the vents He indicated that the door was not fixed properly and there were no mechanical problems We checked the unit after he left and the unit outside was not working and no cool air on the lower level Unfortunately, this technician is incompetent I live in Maryland and I made a trip there within two days to check the unit THE UNIT IS NOT WORKING I contacted Mce Plus and she indicated that the technician noted NO MECHANICAL ISSUEI plan to contact AHSI do not recommend this company Time is money

MCE takes advantage of seniorsI received a service call with MCE today thru a American Home Shield for an HVAC issueI paid AHS $for the service callUpon arrival the service technician, Art from MCE, asked me what was going on with the unit, to which I reiterated that my air wasn't coming onThe service tech then went outside to the exterior unit and told me that in order to proceed I had to first pay for a separate maintenance service in order to diagnose my HVAC and the problems related to it not workingI didn't think much of it and told him sure and paid himI later found out that I didn't need to pay for a maintenance charge as a diagnosis must be performed to determine the problem related to the unit; if that means cleaning a line to find out if that is the issue then that's apart of itInstead MCE tells me that I must first pay for a cleaning in order to proceed of which they found a coil that needed cleaning in order for the unit to operate properlySecond, the technician, then goes to the unit on the inside and says that the evaporator coil is restricted and needs replacingHe writes me a service receipt noting these two issues but calls American Home Shield of my house and says that the house needs duct work and many other repairsHe never mentioned any of this to me until AHS calls and gives me a quote for work that exceeds $The duct work in my house is the same that it's always been in my year homeNever any problem, yet I need new duct work, line set modification, lbs of refrigerant @$per lb and the list goes onI'm a year old woman who has been taken advantage of

MCE came out to my house and the tech was ***I never saw him look at my water heater that was leaking or see him test the water pressure or even ask me questionsHe stated my water heater was leaking because of my water pressure being He told me that because my water pressure was to high that *** would not cover the replacement of my water heater.My water heater was still under warranty My warranty company is *** and they gave me MCE Plus name to call as an approved company they use for repair for warranty holders*** called me to schedule MCE to come back out to replace the PRVAnd then they were going to schedule a time for MCE to replace my water heater at cost plus laborIn the meantime I had someone else of my choosing come out and my water pressure was at limits of not and they replaced my water heater for free because it was under warrantyI would have lost thousands of dollars if I did not call for a second opinion
