Although Ms. [redacted] would find it hard to believe, we pride our selves on our customer service. We have been in the West Valley for over 20 years and have three generations of customers. Most of our customers are return or referrals from other customers. With all things, nothing as well as no one is perfect. That being said we would like to refund the full amount that Ms. [redacted] has spent with us while we made every effort to satisfy her needs. $165.39 has already been credited to her [redacted] card and the remainder will be credited when she contacts me at the store at her earliest convenience. I know she had stated that she has not seen the credit to her account. We were debited from our account on 04/25/2014. If Ms. [redacted] still has not been issued the credit, she should contact the institution that her [redacted] account belongs to. With that I would like to offer our sincerest apology for any miss understanding we may have had. We wish you the best in the future.

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Because of a glitch, I was unable to write the text of why I am not satisfied with the business response. My response is as follows:Mr. [redacted] claimed that there were two lights coming on. However, Mr. [redacted] was on vacation when I was a customer, while when I went in, I had a witness with me. The check-engine light was the only light on, and my only reason that I needed service was to get the car through emissions. Since this didn't happen in several attempts, I am entitled to a full refund. Mr. [redacted] explained that I brought the car back, (again, this was with a witness) and another part was put on. I never authorized another part to be put on my vehicle, and the technician took it upon himself to put the part on, without calling me to authorize it. For this reason, the additional money that it costed the shop is their expense, and not mine, since not only was it not authorized, but it didn't fix the problem! When Mr. [redacted] returned from his vacation, I explained the problem, and of course, asked for the refund that I was completely entitled to. Mr. [redacted] told me he would give me half, and keep the other half on "principle." Keeping part of monies owed is not a principle that I am aware of, unless we are talking about the principles of a five-year-old. Even the "half" that he said he would give me has not been issued yet, forcing me to again persue the complete refund that I am entitled to. This matter is unresolved until I get the refund that I am entitled to. I have receipts and a witness to back this up.Regards,[redacted]

Ms. [redacted] did bring her vehicle to us on 04/11/2014 for lights were on in her dash. We inspected they vehicle and found the check engine light and the ABS light were both on. We preceded to read the codes in her computer. Two codes were found, one was the EGR solenoid was not working, the other was...

the ABS wheel speed sensor was inoperable. We spoke with Ms. [redacted] and explained our findings. We recommended the replacement of both sensors and she agreed to the repairs. The repairs were completed and codes were checked again. No codes were stored at this time. When an emission repair is performed, the vehicle has to be driven to complete the drive cycle and all monitors are ready for testing. The customer pick up Her vehicle and drove it until the check engine light came back on again. We retested for codes and found a new code that specified now that the EGR valve itself was not working. We replaced the EGR at no cost to Ms.[redacted] ( this was a $368.00 repair ) We gave the vehicle back to the customer and during the completion of the drive cycle, the check engine light came on again. Ms. [redacted] called me and was very upset understandable. I explained to her that it was not our intention to have her bring her car back multiple times to correct the problem, however we were willing to continue to diagnose the problem and correct it at no charge to her. She said she wanted her money back. I agreed to a refund for the emission repairs. Ms. [redacted] stated that she had already filed a complaint with the Revdex.com and if she would have known that I would agree to a refund, she would not have filed the complaint. I really believe that we made every effort to rectify the issue for Ms. [redacted], but obviously not to her satisfaction. We wish her the best for the future and hope she is able to find a repair facility that she is happy with. Sincerely, [redacted]
