I am working with my mortgage company in effort to do a DIL. I moved out of my condo in jan 2014, all assessment fees paid at that time. The association had a meeting on Jan 16 and decided to change the entry locks because of issues with the locks. We were not informed of this lock change until now when my mortgage company was trying to gain access to my condo. When we contacted the property manager [redacted] she then informed the company that she would not give them a key until the assessment fee for this month was paid. Legally she has no right to deny me access to my home and furthermore we should have been notified rah then locks were changed. She has not returned phone calls or emails regarding this situation which will probably lead to legal actions and will ultimately hurt the association that hired her.
