None of the above is trueI spoke to the agent hired to assess the property about gaining access to the unit because the locks had been changed due to
another owner being evicted for non-payment of assessmentsMs*** was not notified that the locks were changed because she made it clear to Management and the Association that she no longer resided in the unit and turned over the property to the bankManagement had no contact number for the new ownerGoing forward I emailed and called the *** the agent responsible for gaining access about getting a keyHe and I decided to put the key in the lock boxI also asked *** if he could obtain February assessment that was past dueHe said he could not and I thanked him for his timeI am not sure where this complaint is coming from but I would appreciate if it was removed immediately

The issue has apparently been resolved, however, our contact information was and is the sameCitimortgage had Ms *** information which is why they contacted her for the keys.Citimortgage stated that my contact person which is Ms*** stated, and I have the emails from the Citimortgage representative stating that she would not give them the keys unless it was exchanged for the FebAssessment feeHowever, when I did speak with her this morning, she expressed to me that this is not what occurred and that she would give the company the keyFact remains that the company never should have had a problem getting the entry access keysThis was time and agony wasted unnecessarily

Latrice [redacted] is a con-artist! We are current renters from her in a hell hole of an apartment with major repair needs! She has lied, avoided us & straight out ignored us! The apartment needs to be condemned! The condo association for the apartment has shared they hate doing business with her & have also tried to get her to comply & be honest & pay for repairs! We have been forced to report her to the city building inspector & have also filed a lawsuit against her & her company! Like the previous poster, we too, have been victim of the confusion with her "assistant" in an attempt to cover & continue her scam! Do not rent from this company or do any work or business with her!

MCG Equities prides itself on providing quality service to its leasing and condo management clients. This includes those who may...

have fallen behind, which is the case with Ms. [redacted]. Ms. [redacted]'s non-payment began on 10/03/2013 (September payment) when her payment was returned for non-sufficient funds by her bank. She was notified via text and over the phone regarding the missed payment and asked to resubmit to keep her account current. There were no attempts by Ms. [redacted] to bring the account current. The checks mentioned in her complaint were never received by MCG Equities.
Ms. [redacted]'s assertion that she is "unable" to make payments is puzzling. She made 19 payments using our online system and 14 payments were made by check before the online system was available. Once an NSF occurs the online system requires the client to resubmit electronic payment (EFT) information with a new email address.
Ms. [redacted] has a tenant occupying a unit in the building, but she has not submitted a payment in over five (6) months. The condo association declaration and by-laws state "that owners shall pay his/her proportionate share of the common expenses of administration, maintenance, and repair of the common elements and any other expense incurred in conformance with the declaration and by-laws or otherwise lawfully agreed upon". The rules and regulations put in-place by the board of directors state that "owners shall be fined a $25 late fee if assessments are not received by the 10th of every month". If Ms. [redacted] does not agree with the late fees, she can appeal the matter with the condo board.
Ms. [redacted] can make payments via mail to MCG Equities or our attorney, hand deliver to authorized parties (MCG Equities, condo board president, or our attorney), or resubmit EFT information online to resume electronic payments.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2014/03/25) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Unfortunately, Ms. [redacted] has done nothing but state the obvious. I am AWARE that my payments are in arrears. All I requested was a phone number to the payment website. Its a shame that this is too hard a task for Ms. [redacted] to undertake. Subsequently, I rechecked my bank statements and also contacted my banking institution to possibly substantiate her claim that my payment was returned due to insufficient funds- on good faith. There is no such record of ANY returned payments. Luckily, my Bank WAS able to provide a contact number to the site, called Buildium. They may be able to assist me. Perhaps THEY are dedicated to effective customer service. Also it looks as if I will have to engage other resources as well- as retaliatory actions on Ms. [redacted]'s part appear to have begun.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2014/04/01) */
Ms. [redacted]'s response proves that this complaint is not an attempt to reach a resolution to her delinquent account. Her first complaint was to have the late fees waived. There was no request for contact information to the payment website (Buildium) therefore it was not provided in the Revdex.com response. As I stated in the first response, waiving of late fees is authorized by the condo board. MCG Equities can't remove late fees without board approval. I provided at least three ways for Ms. [redacted] to submit a payment to bring her account current. The payment methods have been communicated to Ms. [redacted] on numerous occasions prior to the compliant on the Revdex.com website.
Now Ms. [redacted] has become hostile and threatening. She does not wish to settle her account or resolve the late fees. The most recent post to the Revdex.com is an open threat that can't be ignored or tolerated.
Final Consumer Response /* (4200, 11, 2014/04/08) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
No threats have been made. This matter has been referred to The Illinois Community Association Manager Licensing and Disciplinary Board.
