Recently purchased a 10k used carProvided a check for the down paymentIt was agreed the check would be held until financing was approvedFinancing was approved, went in to sign revised official paperwork, decided to just have them debit my bank account for the down paymentDone, no problemGot the check backdays later they somehow cashed the check, even though we had the physical check, and my debit payment already clearedAs of writing MINI of Las Vegas has submitted the check to my bank twice prompting overdraft fees and calls from Chase fraud protectionThis nearly locked the account down; luckily Chase is pretty understandingWe cannot get a hold of the finance manager or anyone at the dealership who is willing to assist usAll we can do is leave messages that are not being returnedMy initial purchasing experience was less than stellar but I chalked it up to it being the typical car buying experience but these post purchase shenanigans are too much to not finally

Impossible to work with these guys on used carsI've never tried so hard in my life to give someone our money on a car...EVER! Ridiculous rates on good credit, vehicle year, and low mileageLudicrous down payments of 30-40% with the same credit and vehicle factors$to push paper disguised as a document fee that can't be compensated for in the price (even though they drop the price two days later by $500)Inept "management" that sends "empty" customer service emailsI'm sure the new car department is better because it's backed by Mini [redacted] Financial) which is good, and I can't speak for the new cars...BUTPlease shop somewhere else for your used car purchasesMy girlfriend and I wasted a week with this place, and multiple inquiries on her good creditThis took a huge toll on her fresh car buying experience and she is now completely put off at the idea of ever being involved in a car shopping deal againMy patience was tested more than it ever has buying a used car
