McGhee's Technical Water Services Reviews (2)

Received at Revdex.com via email: [redacted],This e-mail is in response to the complaint that our company received from your office ID# [redacted].I have tried several times to respond on your website & for some reason can't figure it out.  So I am responding as follows:Mrs [redacted] called our office...

around 10/3/17 & requested us to pull the annual samples that are required by the Richland Public Health Department for their home septic system.  Our employee Wes [redacted], went out to their home on 10/10/17 & pulled the required samples.  He took them to the lab that day for analysis.  On or around 10/17/17 she called the office again & told me that the inspection company (Price Septic) had been there & said that there was no way that we should have pulled the samples, since their system was not working properly.  I tried to explain to her that we were only hired to do sampling, not inspections and that she probably should have had the inspection before calling us for sampling.  I told her that I would call her back after that samples results came back, and she hung up on me. I called her on 10/26/17 & told her that the samples had come back & that they were not very good.  I also told her that only one of the results from all of the home septic sampling locations that we had pulled all year had come back within the ideal levels.  That was to explain to her that none of these systems in the area appear to be working properly, or are even designed to meet the permit limits.  I was not saying that my employee was incompetent.  He has worked for us 20 years & knows how to pull samples.  Our company operates & samples for about 50 larger commercial wastewater plants in a 12 county area.  On that day, just to appease her, I offered to charge her $85.00 to go out to her house for the service call & I would refund her the remaining $105.00, and I would throw the sample results away.  She hung up on me again.  So I sent the results to Richland Public Health & finished up the paperwork & did what we were hired to do in the first place. Both times she threatened to call the Revdex.com, when I talked with her.  Also, after receiving this complaint, I have talked with Wes [redacted] about the day he pulled the samples.  In her complaint she said that Price Septic informed her that an alarm was going off when they got there to do their inspection.  Wes pulled the samples on 10/10/17 & he said there was no alarm on the system on that day.  Price Septic came on 10/17/17 to do their inspection.  A lot can happen in a week's time.   Ask anyone who operates sewer plants.  Wes also said that system appeared to be working properly when he was there to pull the samples.  However, he would have had to do a thorough inspection, pull all to tank lids & check all of the working components to be sure & that is not what we were hired to do.  We do not feel that we owe her any type of refund.  We did that job that we were hired to do.  We have been in business since 1987 & I believe that this is the first complaint that we have ever had go to the Revdex.com.  Please let me know that you received this e-mail.  If you have any further questions or concerns, please contact me at the address or number below. Holly [redacted]'s Technical Water Services, Inc.[redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:I have NEVER talked to the person that wrote this response EVER! I talked to a female both times & the things in this response was NOT explained before hand. Our system is not connected to others in this area. In My opinion the [redacted] Company is very much taking advantage of most all of the people that use their service. A company should not be allowed to use these practices at all. As for checking the system Ourselves...both My Husband & I are older & so disabled that there is no way for Us to do so and this was explained 1st hand that We was NOT familiar with this septic system.
