Review: I took my pickup (1998 Mazda ) in to McGill's on May 15th, to have a throw out bearing replaced. I dropped it off at 9:00 am and got a ride home with my Dad. My [redacted] is a mechanic at McGill's and he brought the truck home. A few days later my [redacted] took me out to the garage and showed me the damage to my truck. Apparently the truck almost fell of the lift (he told me it was in need of repair they had the parts but they hadn't fixed it yet) the right side rocker panel is dented and there is a goose egg on my hood. I have been waiting to hear from my [redacted] and I called him yesterday and he told me that McGill's was not going to fix my truck that it wasn't their responsibility, if it is not their responsibility I would like to know who's it is!! He said that they only charged me for 3 hours of work time instead of 6 so they aren't responsible. I was unaware of this. I am now in a bind, I want my truck repaired and feel they are responsible, I did not ask for a discount and I should have been notified that if they discount the bill that they are not liable for any damage. I also feel that someone from McGill's should have notified me immediately when this happened and no one called me. I don't want to get anyone in trouble I want my truck back to the way it was when I dropped it off on May 15. I don't feel I should have to pay to fix it when it is not my fault. I only carry liability insurance on the truck. I am now faced with out of pocket expenses that I can't afford and have to figure out a way to work while truck is being repaired. This is outrageous in my opinion. They need to make it right. The truck is in great shape no rust and not quite 100,000 miles and I will be driving this for quite awhile yet because I can't afford a payment right now. And then the icing on the cake the truck is still not repaired still making the same noise it was before they changed the throw out bearing. But I will not be taking it back to them for further repairs!!!!!Desired Settlement: They (McGill's) need to repair my truck back to the way it was when I dropped it of!
