McGills Warehouse

I have used McGills Warehouse for about ten years. Their shipping policies are inconsistent and they are difficult to work with.

I have noticed a decline in the quality of products I have ordered recently. Bevels seem to have been chipped and re-ground at the factory providing a finished bevel that is no longer within dimensional specifications. As a glass artist these inconsistencies throw off the dimensions of my overall panel or three dimensional artwork .

I have done business with this company for yearsThe merchandise is great for the price it can not be beat(I buy wholesale so I can compare the two) fast shipment ,never had a problem

I have done business with McGills warehouse on several occasionsI found their products to be as describedI was very pleased with their prices in comparison to other suppliers
They sell such a verity of products that they cannot be experts on them allI buy diamond polishing and cutting blades and padsI found their blades to be of very good quality and a real bargain I did not find their pads to be so great, though they do workI also had trouble with their website

They are very ignorant and there is no phone number to speak with them, only the salesman who don't know anything! They mailed my glass order in a USPS Priority Box with no padding, cushion or anything! When Post office delivered it the box was all taped up on all 4 sides and glass bouncing around loose in the box. Some were broke, chipped, smudged, etc. I called to make a claim, they accused me of making a bogus claim despite the pictures of the box and damaged glass, and told me to file a claim with the Post Office without their help and to take my business elsewhere! Totally ignorant company!!! Oh....also charged $30.60 for overnight shipping which I did not choose, and it came USPS! CROOKS!
