Review: I HIRED THE FIRM IN OCT. 2010 TO GET ME A LOAN MODIFICATION ON MY HOME THRU [redacted]. THE COST WAS 1,495.00 DIVIDED INTO 3 PAYMENTS JAN. 2012 BEING THE FINAL PAYMENT. I DID THIS AND HAVE BEEN IN CONTACT WITH THEM THIS WHOLE TIME BUT ITS STILL NOT DONE. I RECEIVED A LETTER FROM [redacted] SAYING MY LOAN WAS TRANSFERRED TO A NEW COMPANY. AT THIS TIME I TRIED TO CONTACT THE FIRM TO DISCUSS THIS WITH NO RESPONCE. I HAVE TRIED ALL THE PHONE NUMBERS I HAVE AND THE ONES LISTED ON LINE ALL NUMBERS R NOT WORKING . I HAVE AN EMAIL FOR THE LAST GUY THAT WORKED ON MY CASE AND 2 EMAILS WENT UN ANSWERED THE THIRD ONE WAS RETURNED UNDELIVERABLE. I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO WHEN I HIRED THEM I COULD FIND NOTHING ABOUT THE COMPANY BEING A SCAM. MY CONTACTS THRU THE COMPANY THAT I HAVE WORKED WITH ARE:[redacted].....[redacted]....[redacted]....I STILL HAVE THE EMAILS FROM HIM. PLEASE HELP ME.....Desired Settlement: THEY HAVE DONE NOTHING TO GET THIS MODIFICATION DONE AND I AM DESPERATE HERE MY MOTHER AND I HAVE NO WHERE TO GO I HAVE HAD THIS HOUSE FOR 22 YEARS. I NEED THE LOAN MODIFIED SO I CAN AFFORD IT. THIS LAW CENTER CALLED MY MORGAGE COMPANY AND HAD A WOMAN PRETEND TO BE ME TO AUTHORIZE SOMETHING AND THE LADY FROM [redacted] CALLED ME ([redacted])........I JUST NEED THIS DONE AND THE MONEY I PAID THEM CAN BE GIVEN TO THE MORGAGE COMPANY......THANK YOU

Review: The company charged $2495.00 in November of 2011 supposedly for the loan modification/loss mitigation process on my home in virginia. They instructed my wife and I not to pay our mortgage for the three months it would take to complete the process. A year later they still had not done anything, and multiple times denied knowledge of my account with them. When I demanded a refund they took 6 months more to do answer. Now about 2.5 years after initial payment they call me and say I must either pay $199.00 to get my money back via electronic transaction or log in to my online banking to allow them to process our refund while they use a remote access tool on my computer, all the while making my screen go black while they work covertly with no oversight. When I asked how I would know they weren't trying to send a fraudulent check, they said I just had to trust them. They hung up on me when I insisted they do the process without the login to our bank accounts.Desired Settlement: $2495.00 refunded immediately without any bogus handling fee. Certified business check and a number the company can be reached at reliably because the numbers they have listed are false.
