A certified letter has been sent to this customer with the key she requested back the finial invoice for work performed has been sent to this customer as wellI am waiting for a response via postal service from her in this matter Thank you

McGraw Mechanical was hired to remove existing fiberglass insulation above the drop ceiling in the studio area. Install a duct zoning system and a HRV. The electric heating panels were purchased by the owner. I received a phone call from the owner . to inform me the panels were being delivered and...

she needed some one to receive them and unload the tractor trailer. because of the parking situation I had to take a dump truck up to job site to unload panels. Non of which was contracted by us. I was doing it to help the customer. I then receive word owner cant pull a permit with out insurance and comp. She tried to list me a as general contractor because there are friends and family doing work on this site. The building inspector had explained the situation to me. The insulation company has 128 branches across the U.S. and it took them a while after repeated emails from there corporate office and locale branch to get the building inspector what was needed. The owner as listed above was copied in these emails so she new what was going on. After the permit was pulled by the owner the insulating company began to complete there work. Once they were finished I stopped out to inspect the work the following day. I found some new problem areas due to the way the building was constructed the tops of the ext. walls all need to be sealed up or there would be mold issues in a building there going to run @105 during hot yoga. I also explained that there were penetration's in the rear wall that need to be addressed. So I had the insulating company come back out after explain this to the owners husband and land lord. They tried to accommodate Jackie by working late on Friday and returning on Saturday to finish up the extra work that was required. We began our work the following week . I received a text message telling me to check my email Friday morning telling me my services were no longer required. It also stated my ladder and tables were left outside do not enter the building . The key for the vacant building was to be mailed back to here along with any remaining balance left on her deposit. She also stated once that was done she would make arraignments. for me to pick up the material I had brought to the site for the project. The following day I received this notice. The end result is I will happily mail back her key for the vacant property. I will happily refund her deposit less my costs. which will be mailed with the key certified to the address listed above. Thank you Revdex.com

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I'm very confused by his offer because there is no dollar value to accept.  The business did not address the first 5 weeks of my complaints.  He was to be contracted for the ceiling panel installation and is documented that he was asked for his quote for said services on May 7th, which went unanswered.  It is also documented that the ceiling panels were delivered to the address at which he requested, when given the choice.  The additional costs involved I was willing to pay at the time - I just wanted to confirm the necessity to which he replied "He will take care of it, not to pay additional charges I was willing to pay to SSHC, Inc. (the shipper of panels).  After the delvery of ceiling panels he texted saying "good thing he brought the dumptruck" but never advised me there was any additional charges prior to bringing it.My reply to the building permit and insurance certificates - he should have turned over certificates when asked and should have not taken as long as it did.  It is not my problem that he doesn't provide the proper office staff to handle communications. I completed the building permit to the law.  I listed him as the contractor because he was the only contractor I hired.  He made himself the general contractor when he subcontracted services.  The code enforcer was made aware the next week of McGraw Mechanicals termination the next business day.  After that discussion, I was advised I needed a CE-200 to continue working on the permit and did so that day. I was always in close communication with the code enforcer ([redacted].  This job should not have been dragged out for 7 weeks like it was - I lost two months rent when I should have been open to the public by now.  He new deadlines. Regards,[redacted]
