Good Afternoon [redacted] ,This letter is in response to your letter dated May ***, regarding patient [redacted] *** As I outlined to you, in our phone conversation, [redacted] was not refused, nor was she told, we could not perform the ultrasound of he [redacted] , because she had [redacted] The patient did not come into the office with previous film or reports from the facility where she had all her exams done [redacted] ***i and her husband were made to wait, as our Radiologist needed more information concerning the patient’s condition I explained to her and her husband, I would try to get some information from the other facility Her husband was able to show me reports on his phone and sent them to meThe Radiologist could not give her an appropriate diagnosis from reports on my phone [redacted] ***i has a serious medical problem and she was having a follexam from the other facility, the Radiologist needed the patient’s film from the other facility to give her a quality diagnosis I asked why she did not go back to the other facility that had all her records and her response was “ [redacted] ***” I explained she should speak with a manager to have them squeeze her in for an earlier date I did explain that if we do not give her a quality exam it would not be fair to her and is a liability I never said I could not do an exam because she had [redacted] She was told that if she went to the other facility and picked up the film and reports we would gladly see her as a patient.I hope this will clarify [redacted] complaint.Thank you,Cecilia T [redacted] ***###-###-#### Fax: ###-###-####
