Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

The license plates were overnighted via USPS along with all the relevant receipts.  The post office failed to deliver the package timely, but after numerous attempts of checking with the sending and receiving post offices, the package was located.  Ms. [redacted] was advised that her package...

was being held at her local post office and ready for pickup.  We apologize for any delay, but unfortunately, we cannot control the circumstances that occurred due to the USPS failure to deliver the package on a timely basis.

Review: I purchased a 2009 [redacted] in September and recently decided to have a few small flaws checked out. I had the check engine light on, the traction control would randomly turn on the light but kept on working, the reverse sensor didn't function at all, the indicators would blink very rapidly, and some light engine vibration. Small details most people live with but I wanted fixed so I took the car too McGuire Buick and they ran a diagnosis on the car so we could sort all of the problems. It took roughly two work days for them to diagnose the car, at which point they gave me a work price of over $2,600.00 plus tax. I said go ahead and received the car this previous Thursday afternoon (2/13/2015). The next morning the car turned on the traction control light and reduced engine power light, this time my car would barely run, so I turned off the car and turned it back on and it was fine. I drove down to [redacted] in the car and when I was near exit 100 on the garden state parkway (entering on exit 153) it happened again while in the middle of the highway, and continued too do so the whole way down, each time the problems would come back faster. I called the dealer and told them and they told me too bring them the car on Monday. I delivered the car early Monday morning and they called me on Tuesday claiming new problems and an additional cost of $3,500.00 without tax for the "new repairs". The issue at hand is that the car went from drivable with minor issues to a death trap, when the lights would go off it also became slightly harder too brake and turn, when the point was too fix all of the problems. This car has returned with the same issues it went in with just much worse, nothing was fixed properly and they want me too pay again.Desired Settlement: I would prefer the vehicle be properly repaired as it was supposed to be. If this is not possible then I will also accept the car back with a full refund and the car in the order it was brought too the dealership in before they "fixed it".

Review: Hello,I bought a car two months ago.The problem is the car dealer gave me only the registration and plates but will not grant me the title. I own the vehicle right out because I paid for it in full as soon as I bought it. I have the bill of sale. Can you please intercede for me regarding this issue?Desired Settlement: I want the dealer to give me my title immediately or give me all the money back for the full purchase price of the vehicle.

Response:

We apologize for the delay in transferring the title, but the title was mailed to the customer on August 17, 2015 via [redacted] Certified, Return Receipt Requested, and the customer was advised that it would be sent in that manner. The [redacted] attempted to deliver it to the customer on August 20, 2015, but an authorized recipient was not available. A notice was left at the customer's address with instructions to either arrange for a re-delivery or claim it at the [redacted] indicated on the notice.

Review: On May 27, 2014 inferior service was performed on my 1996 GMC Safari Van. The inferior service caused the van to break down on an interstate highway on June 29, 2014.

The van was disabled by the failure of the inferior service and had to be towed to the nearest GMC dealer for repairs.

On August 15, 2014 a letter detailing the specifics of this complaint was handed by me to the service manager, [redacted].

Attached were copies of the invoices of the repairs and expenses.Desired Settlement: I requested a refund of all my expenses and the termination of the employment of the mechanic that is endangering peoples lives.

Review: ONE WORD:DISCUSTING, DISHONOBLE, FALSE PEOPLE...HAD A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH THIS BUSINESS. LONG STORY SHORT, I BOUGHT A [redacted] TERRAIN 2015 CAR FROM THEM AND I ENDED UP SIGHNING INTO A NIGHTMARE OF A CONTRACT...THE SALES PERSON GAVE ME A PRICE THAT TOOK INTO ACCOUNT A DISCOUNT OF $1500.00 FROM AN INCENTIVE PLAN THAT THEY HAD WHICH SUPPOSEDLY APPLIED TO ME BECAUSE SOMEONE WHO LIVED IN MY ADDRESS HAD A LEASE WITH TOYOTA AND THE DEALER WAS HONORING IT...A COMPLETE LIE, ONLY TWO DAYS AFTER SIGNING THE CONTRACT THE SALES PERSON TOLD ME THAT I HAD TO BRING PROOF OF THE LEASE FROM "THAT PERSON"...GUESS WHAT, I HAD TO COME UP WITH THE $1500 FROM MY OWN POCKET...I TRIED TO RETURN THE CAR THAT DAY AND THE GENERAL MANAGER DID NOT EVEN DARE TO SEE ME, BUT INSTEAD THEY SENT THE FINANCIAL GUY AND HE LITERALLY TOLD ME THAT I COULDNT DO ANYTHING BECAUSE THE BANK ALREADY REIMBURSE THE MONEY TO THEM AND THAT I EITHER BRING THE PROOF OF THAT "SUPPPOSE DISCOUNT" THE SALES REP OFFERED ME, OR THEY WOULD FILE CHARGES AGAONST ME...I HATE THAT I WAS CHEATED AND TREATED UNFAIR, AND THIS IS WHY I AM WRITING THIS COMPLAINT ABOUT THE MCGUIRE BUICK GMC DEALERSHIP....PLEASE DONT LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU WHOEVER IS READING THIS COMPLAINT...THEY GOT ME, THEY DID VERY GOOD!!Desired Settlement: I WANT THE MCGUIRE BUICK GMC DEALER TO REIMBURSE ME THE $1500 I HAD TO PAY 4 WEEKS AFTER THEY SOLD ME THE CAR BECAUSE THEY WERE HOLDING THE REGISTRATION AND TITLE OF THE VEHICLE, PLUS THEY THREATEN ME WITH PUTTING CHARGES AGAINST ME!!

Review: My intent to visit this dealer was to get a quote on a car I was interested in. I ended up closing on a deal and ending my other lease early. [redacted] the sales rep told me all paper works to return the call will be handled by them and I could pick up the old plates the same day to surrender to DMV. After signing the contract and dealing with all the paper works I was told I can't pick up the plates until they return the car which was days away. This mean I have to keep the old car under my insurance. [redacted] told me the they will mail the old plates. It's been two weeks and I still don't have my old or new plates. I called and someone told me they are still holding the old plates. I'm from a different state so it's not convenient for me to drive there to pick up the old plates. The temporary plates are due to expire in 3days. They also told me I have to get my own car inspection for the new car. I've tried contacting [redacted] for the last 2 days and he still did not return my call. I'm really at a lost because I won't be able to drive the new car and I'm eating the cost of paying insurance on the old car because this dealer is not releasing the old plates to me.Desired Settlement: For this dealer to reimburse me for the additional car insurance premium I had to pay because the dealer won't release my old plates. The registration and car inspection fees which I paid upfront but dealer still did not provide me this information and request me to handle it myself.

Response:

We apologize for any delay, but [redacted] has been out sick with the flu for the past week. The license plates for the returned lease have been returned today to the client via overnight mail and we anticipate receiving the license plates for his new vehicle by this Thursday. Unfortunately, NY Motor Vehicles is running behind schedule due to the holidays. NJ dealers are limited to providing a 20-day temporary tag to out of state residents and, by law, we are not permitted to provide extension tags.
