After using different plumbers in Roanoke we came across McGuire's and have been loyal customers ever since. They are very responsive and have come through in our time of need. The plumbers are great and very professional. I would definitely recommend them. If ever in need CALL them...

Nice people. They get the job done! Excellent customer service.

McGuire Plumbing and heating has been a life saver for me over the last 3 years. I own rental property in Roanoke and live in another town. The house is old and this past year has had quite a few problems. When I call McGuires they are always friendly and responsive to my needs and they get the job done in record time and they do it well. Whether it is the old furnace and air conditioning unit or the plumbing McGuires gets the job done in record time! What more could anyone ask for? Thank you McGuire Plumbing and Heating.

Review: On June 19th I was here for your service personnel to come to my house to access the problem with my plumbing. The two gentlemen were so very courteous and said the problem could be fixed. They also told me someone would get back to me the first of the next week with an estimate. Well, here it is June 30th and not even a courtesy call or anything. If McGuire doesn't want to do the job, the least they could do was tell me. I was waiting for the estimate to file with my homeowner's. I had heard good things about this company and that's why I called them but now I am not so sure.Desired Settlement: I just want people to know how poor your customer service is and if you don't want to do the job to at least have guts enough to tell the customer. I am so disappointed in you!

Absolutely wonderful! They not only responded quickly, but immediately and properly diagnosed the issue with my kitchen sink plumbing. It was fixed in no time, by genuinely nice and caring folks, and the bill matched the very reasonable quote I had been given. The problem I was having had already been looked at on three separate occasions by others. I should have called McGuire's FIRST ... it would have been the only call I needed to make. They are GREAT, PROFESSIONAL and REASONABLE & FAIR. Thank you so much!!

McGuire Plumbing & Heating is The BEST Experience I have ever had with a Business!

I was recently in The Hospital after Emergency Abdominal Surgery, while in the Hospital, our Water Heater went out & nearly caused a fire! When I got Home & Inspected it, I saw it needed replacing, due to My Surgery, I could not do it myself. I asked My Dad who He knew, and the Plumber He knew was too busy, but referred Me to McGuire, these People are in My Opinion, Good Christian People That Care! I was treated Very Nice & the Water Heater was replaced in a Timely Manner and the Whole Experience was Professional & Everyone was Polite & Caring about my situation! The Rates were Very Reasonable & The People could not have been Nicer!

I would HIGHLY Recommend McGuire for your Plumbing and Heating & Air Needs!

If I ever need their Services again, I won't hesitate to call them 1st!

Review: My husband and I have a rental property located at [redacted]. We called McGuire's to come out and reattach the spout that had been taken off by the tenant, and to check the sink in the kitchen to see if it needed to be snaked since it was draining slowly. They came out to assess the job, upfront they asked the tenants to pay $200 up front and they were not suppose to do that nor were the tenants paying for the services done that day, the were aware of that when my husband placed the initial call. They called my husband to let him know about fixing the spout to the tub, they let him know the faucet needed to be replaced so they would go out to get a new one and that would be about $140 with 2-3 hours of labor. My husband gave the go ahead for them to fix that. The tenant's let us know that they had used Draino and fixed the slow drainage in the kitchen sink so it did not need to be snaked and nothing was done to it by the technicians. That was all we had heard from the technicians on the job, they had not contacted us to let us know of any other problem they may have run into working on the tub. We found out that the work was put on my father in laws account, he also has an account w/ McGuire's. We called to let them know that it was billed under the wrong person. Since my father in law received the 1st bill we didn't receive any at our address. My father in law forwarded the bill to my husband and I and we were shocked to find that the bill was $711.00 since we were not quoted that nor contacted to let us know the job would require more work and more labor. My husband placed the 1st call to McGuire's to ask them to review the bill and research since the bill showed they had worked on the tub, the kitchen sink, and something about the commode. we had not asked them to do any work to the commode b/c there was nothing wrong with it, they also did nothing to the kitchen sink. They had charged 6.5 hours of labor, our tenants let us know that they were not there for 6.5 hours, they said about 3 hours. Since it was billed under the wrong account we never got a bill billing it under our account once it was adjusted, we finally got our 1st bill Monday 11/9/15 statement date 11/5/15 which had 1% finance charges added to the bill due to it not being paid within 30 days. We hadn't received an adjusted bill for them to pay and my husband was never contacted from the call her made to their office for review and research. When we got the bill on the 9th I called the next day Tuesday 11/10/15 to let them know that was the first bill we had received and that my husband had called months ago to find out why it was so high and why it was billed with so many hours of labor. The lady I spoke with in the office advised me she would research it and call me back once she did, she was going to lunch when we got off the phone so she would have to call me back later. Of course I said ok. I placed that call at 12:28 pm 11/10/15, and when I got off work at 4:30 I had not received a call back and they were closed. Thinking they may contact me the next morning since they open at 8am I waited. I called them today 11/11/15 to see what they had found in researching the bill, they lady had researched but never bothered to call me back and let me know what she found, the lady that answered the phone was relaying info from the women I had spoken with yesterday instead of her speaking directly with me. She let me know that the bill was correct they were there for 6.5 hours they get paid for time they are not on the job and doing the actual labor and that the sink and commode were billed on there but they didn't do anything to them so there was no charge. Didn't care the fact that our tenants were home and confirmed how long the men were actually there, why would it benefit the tenants to lie? It wouldn't they are not paying the bill so they didn't have to tell use what was done or how long it took, but since they were home they did. Looking at reviews of their company it seems this I s common thing that's done, bill for things not worked on and labor that was not done. I feel this bill is incorrectly billed and I refuse to pay it like it is we will only pay for what parts were bought for this job on the tub faucet only so that needs to be corrected and I will pay for 3 hours of labor I am not paying your guys to come go out have lunch get a part and come back! I am paying for physical labor preformed and we know that was not 6.5 hours so that needs to be corrected as well!Desired Settlement: I would like them to re-evaluate the bill they sent us and charge for parts that were purchased and bill labor that was preformed. W need to have a corrected billing statement billed under OUR account and interest charges removed since we didn't get an actual bill that was correctly billed till the one with statement date 11/5/15.

In reference to the letter regarding [redacted] work done at [redacted] First when the call was placed, Mr. [redacted] called and requested the work. We do a lot of work for him. We were told this was his son [redacted], but wasn't told to send the bill to [redacted]. We found the error on September 28, 2015 and changed the bill to his son. Our work order was to reattach the tub faucet and caulk around the tub. Also the k/sink was draining slow When the men arrived on the job, they found the tub faucet couldn't be reattached but needed to be replaced. Our men called and got the approval to change it. We did have to go get the faucet, which we charge for that time. They did run the cable for 1 hour thru the k/sink drain to confirm it was open. While we were there the men noticed the commode was running and we replaced the fluidmaster fill valve & the flapper in it. Also, it is not our policy for the men to ask for payment upfront. I don't know where that came from but it wasn't from our men. We were trying to help Mr. [redacted] out, because we do work for him at his house and rental properties and figured we would save him another service call trip. I will take the material & labor charged for the commode repairs off the bill. I am very sorry of the error and I will take care of this matter now.Sincerely,Nadine K. McGuire, Pres.
