This vehicle was towed per the Oxnard police department because the vehicle was involved in a crimeIt first came to our yard, then the detective had us tow it to the Police deptimpound yard where they processed the carThen they had us bring it back to our yardThere were three tows innvolved
Thats why the bill was so highThis woman stood at our window and yelled for minutes straight , would ask a question and then keep talking over me and not listen to my answerThe detective did not let the records department know that they had the car towed to the pd impound yardI kept trying to explain but she was too busy yellingshe was not even the owner nor the person the police released the car toI asked her three times, calmly if she was going to listen and three times she didn't acknowledge me so I told her I cannot help you and went to my desk and called the police to come manage her as she was extremely disruptiveShe kept asking for a bill and I repeatedly told her you will get an itemized bill when you pay it just like anywhere elseWhen the officer showed up she shut up long enough to listen to his explanation, I then could tell her that the police was paying for two of the tows and what her total wasOur rates are set by the Oxnard Police DeptOur window does not close so She's trying to make things more dramatic We don't often have to call the police on customers but she was a piece of work.I think the whole things may have gone better if the police department communicated better with themselvesThe records department kept telling her the car was at our yards when in fact it was in their impound yardThis was beyond my controlNo one needs to put up with the hate and vitriol this woman dished outAlso our rates are posted on the wall so could have seen the, if she looked
