I highly recommend Genesis Construction they did a wonderful job our laundry room and kitchen

Genesis is honest and thorough with their work I would use them again

We needed to remodel a bathroom which included a leaky toilet leading to a damaged floorWe sought three bids to accomplish the goals of 1) repair the damaged floor, 2) ensure no further leaks, and 3) remodel the shower, vanity, floor & wallsWe were really impressed with Bruce of Genesis Construction from the very first meetingWe expanded the scope of the project with ideas of our own, and always with Bruce's advice, for example adding a new back door unrelated to the bathroomGenesis worked clean - every night our house was put back togetherAt job's end Bruce produced receipts for every nut and bolt and other hardware required for the job and we experienced no surprises They finished on time, and it looked beautifulWe are not only happy with the outcome, but also Bruce's help in guiding us through the required decisionsWe definitely recommend hiring Bruce and Genesis Corporation for any rehab construction project

Quality work at a fair price!

We had Genesis construction remodel two of our bathroomsWe are very happy with how both bathrooms turned out.One of the bathrooms turned out to have a couple of unexpected complications, and Bruce *** went the second mile to make sure we were satisfiedBruce *** is a man of the highest integrityWe plan to use him to remodel our kitchen nextI cannot say enough good things about him and I highly recommend him

Do NOT hire this company!! Our neighbors hired McIntosh Masonry to put in a driveway for their new garage. We noticed one of their workers carrying something onto our property and throwing it behind our bushes. My husband went over and found that they had been dumping their construction debris on our property The debris consisted of rocks, chunks of concrete, wood pallets, rolls of plastic, empty concrete bags, broken pipe and boards with nails sticking out of them. My husband informed him that this was our property, not the homeowners where they were putting in the driveway and whatever they had dumped on our property had to be removed. The guy said, "ok, we didn't know it was your property, I'll get it later."
A few hours later I noticed him headed to the same place in our yard. I went over to make sure he was removing the debris and discovered not only was he not removing the debris, he was relieving himself in my yard! I advised him that our yard was not a public toilet. The man then started yelling at me and swearing at me!! I told him that he needed to remove the debris now and stop using our yard as a public toilet. He yelled and swore at me some more but when he saw that I was not going to be intimidated he started removing the debris. He threw the debris in my vicinity, some of the big rocks landing about 8" from my feet, then started hurling it in the neighbors yard where they were putting in the driveway. As he was hurling the debris he sent it flying into the neighbors flowers and bouncing off the side of their new garage. He then threw the boards with the nails into their yard with the nails sticking straight up continuing with his vitriolic tirade.
I advised this man that he should probably think of some way to make things right with me as his company name and phone number were right there on his shirt and I could easily call his boss and write a review on line. He replied that he "didn't care, go ahead." I asked if he was sure that's the way he wanted to leave things. He said he did and to go ahead and call his boss.
So I did. I called the phone number on his shirt and a man answered with "hello" rather than a professional greeting so I had to ask a few questions to make sure I wasn't talking to the man I'd just had the run in with. I told the man I was speaking to (I think he said his name was Joe) what all had just transpired. He said he didn't know it was our property and he was sorry. I asked him if they normally did business this way, that they obviously hadn't gotten the homeowners permission to put the debris there or he would have been told it wasn't their property. Joe said that he always dumps rocks wherever. I asked about the other debris. Joe said they shouldn't have put that there and he would make sure it was cleaned up. I told him about how the man had yelled at me and thrown things in my direction but he didn't seem too concerned about that. I asked him again if he had received the homeowners permission to put the debris there. He replied (rather harshly) "well, they weren't home." I advised Joe that we were thinking of having some work done and I knew of others that wanted work done so I wanted to know what their normal business practice was for removing debris. Joe yelled at me that I just kept asking the same thing over and over. I replied that I guess I had to assume then from our conversation that their normal business practice was to hide debris on the homeowners land and hope they wouldn't get caught. Then Joe hung up on me!!! I called back but he didn't answer my call. I left a message that I would be leaving him a "glowing" review on line.
I told my neighbor what had happened, helped her pick up the boards with the nails so no one would step on them and told her to check her garage for damage. She was very thankful I had told her these things and said she hadn't been very happy with the company either.
I have waited over 24 hours to write this review. I kept thinking that someone would either call me back or knock on my door to try to make things right but no one has. Therefore I felt I should warn any potential customers to STEER CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY!!!!

I highly recommend Genesis Construction they did a wonderful job our laundry room and kitchen.

Hired to complete tuckpointing of a renovated house with red brick and red mortar. On the first try, they did half of the house in red mortar and half in gray mortar. On the second try, I've recently been told due to a roof inspection, they missed tuckpointing AN ENTIRE CHIMNEY because THEY DIDN'T KNOW THERE WAS A SECOND CHIMNEY. You know...those stacks of bricks protruding from the house? I guess I can understand not doing the work since they "didn't see the other chimney," but someone in business for over 30 years should have enough mental acuity to SEE A [redacted] CHIMNEY. Now they won't finish the work they were hired to do, and that's their excuse. Absolutely pathetic - but I wouldn't expect anything less from a friends of [redacted] Shoddy work loves company.
