Review: I ordered what I was lead to believed to be a new Husqvarna XP390 with a 24" bar. What I received was a unused 390 XP that was not in a original Husqvarna box and may have been a display model I don't know, it didn't come with a original Husqvarna chain bar, it came with a cheap after market or replacement [redacted] brand chain bar. It wasn't in a original Husqvarna shipping box, which would have been the safest box to ship it in. It was shipped to me in a oversized brown cardboard box packed in newspaper, in no way could loose news paper stop a 19 pound saw from bouncing around in this large of box. I can send pictures if you would like to see how it was shipped. so to make a long story short either it was shipped broken in order to get the insurance company to fix it or in the process of shipping it was dropped either way it was delivered with a broken handle. So I contacted McKean Supply and explained that the saw was delivered with a broken handle the owner first said he would send me out a new handle, I told him it is a new saw and I wasn't going to work on or fix something that is suppose to be new and undamaged. He then told me he had it insured with the USPS and a second insurance carrier because USPS value limit wasn't enough to cover the 900 dollar value of the saw so he had a second insurance carrier. Initially I told the store owner I wanted to see if the insurance would replace the broken saw with a new undamaged one. So when I called USPS to file a insurance claim I found out that he had lied to me, it was never insured thru the USPS. I called him again and he sent me the paper work for what he called the secondary insurance. After looking the paper work over I asked him to file the paper work. when he filed the paper work he TOLD me what it would cost him to fix it. That would be fine if I lived close enough for him to fix it. But since I live in Iowa I believe he should have asked me to get estimates on repairing the saw and file his claim based on the estimates. The owner said it should cost $173.37 for parts and labor. I took the saw to a local Husqvarna service dealer to be fixed and it cost $230.93. The part (handle) cost the same with this dealer but he had to pay $15.00 shipping and the balance was labor and sales tax. I paid the bill and forwarded it on to the owner of McKean supply he proceeded to tell me that he had already filed the claim and he didn't think they would pay it. It is my belief that he should have waited to see what it was going to cost me to get the saw fixed before he filed the claim. He tells me he will only reimburse me for what HE said it should cost me. I believe if the insurance company only pays $173.37 as he says then he himself should reimburse me the balance of the repair. This saw was damaged at no fault of mine, but I'm the one that has had to spend my time finding a dealer and then take it to him and pick it up. I haven't asked for any reimbursement for that, that should have been included in the claim. The owner of McKean Supply has made this my problem, when in fact I didn't create the situation, The problem stems from improper packing and preparation in shipping which reflects back on he owner of the store in which it was shipped from.Desired Settlement: It is my belief that if the insurance company doesn't pay the entire repair bill that the store owner at McKean Supply should pay the balance. I also believe that he should send a new 24" Husqvarna chain bar like what should have came with a brand new saw.

This delusional buyer should have spent more time doing what he was supposed to do instead of writing his book. He actually tried to get the post office to send him a brand new saw and he wanted to keep the one we sent also. If you sell as much as this company sells, you are eventually going to run into an it like this. I have already given it more attention than it deserves. And for the company "Revdex reviews", reply is spelled reply, not "replay"
