There is not a resolution to the issue mentioned in the owner's response. There was not an answering machine turned on for me to contact the business for resolution. After the owner hung up on me, I as well as one of my colleagues attempted to reach her by phone several times, and she refused to answer. The only acceptable resolution is a refund for the product that was not properly delivered as per the owner's agreement.

I received your letter today in the mail with a complaint from [redacted] about my business, McKee's Party Zone.Mrs. [redacted] did purchase items from my store for her son's birthday party on Oct. 6th, 2016 in the amount of $111.62. As she stated items had to be ordered as they were not in...
stock. Our policy that is clearly stated right next to our register/counter "NO RETURNS ON SPECIAL ORDERS".Being a small retail store, you can see the need I have to post that. I ask all my customers where they are from so I can keep track of where I may need to advertise more or less. etc. When she asked for the items that weren't in stock and then told me where she was from, we had 2 weeks to go until the date of the party. I did offer to MEET her or have her pick them up at my daughter's (who lives in [redacted]) and she was fine with that. She did pay for her items ordered and I told her I will call her when they are in to see where to meet. She ordered an additional table cover @ $3.97. 2 packs of plates at $2.97 each and a birthday banner at $6.97. totaling $16.88 ($17.89 with tax). When the items arrived on (Wednesday) Oct. 19th, I called Mrs.[redacted] and left her a voicemail the items were in and to call me back as to where to meet. She did not call me back. On (Friday), October 21st, the day before her party, I called her first thing when I arrived at work, and she answered the phone. I told her everything was in and that I left her a message 2 days ago also and where would she like to meet. She told me to come to her house as she wasn't going anywhere to meet me. I told her I didn't see my daughter since to get her the order and I will meet her in [redacted] as we were planning on going out there to eat later that evening. She said "absolutely not, you bring them to my house". I told her [redacted] is only like 10 minutes away and she said again "absolutely not". She explained bath time is 6:00 and bedtime is 7. I told her it's a Friday and she didn't care or want to hear anything else. I then told her my husband gets off work at 4:00 and he can make a trip and be there between 4:30 and 5:00. She said AGAIN "absolutely not". "You promised to come to my home and deliver the items or I never would have gotten them". I told her that wasn't true and that I said either my daughter or myself would get them to either [redacted] or [redacted] or meet somewhere close. I again told her it's less than 10 minutes for her and 45 minutes for us. She told me "you need to be quiet and listen. I am talking" and at that point I told her this is your last chance. If you want the items for your party tomorrow, you can let me know what time is good for you to meet if not, you're out of luck. She said "I don't want them now and do you still have my cc info? I said "No, we don't keep that". She then wanted my email to send me the cc info and I told her we don't have returns on special orders. She screamed in the phone and said "You gotta be f'n kidding me" and continued on and on. I told her the sign is right next to the counter. She proceeded to tell me "I will never come to your business again", "I'm calling the Revdex.com and reporting you and I'll make sure everyone knows what you did". I told her I'm still planning on coming out and if she wants the items to call me and let me know where to meet. I said goodbye and hung up. She called back and started to cuss at me and I hung up again. She then kept calling my store and letting the phone ring quite a few times, hanging up and redialing and kept it up 3 or 4 times letting it ring 10-12 times each time. I turned the answering machine on just in case she calmed down and wanted to meet. She didn't leave a message. At that point, if she wanted her items, I was gonna have the [redacted] state police follow me to meet her from how violent she turned on the phone. She never did call me back.I have been in business going on 6 years and have never had any issues like this before. Most people that I agree to meet can't believe how generous that is of me to do that and I truly don't mind helping them out if I can.
