I sent in two perfect condition textbooks that were the latest editions. *** quoted a price in the $60s (which was already a lot lower than it should have been.) They have been very slow in receiving my textbooks, they did not sent me an email when they received the textbooks like they said they would, and now I see on my account that they are paying me only $13 for the two textbooks. Remember, they were in perfect condition - no pen/pencil marks, no highlighter marks, no damage, no folded pages, etc. They do not honor their quoted prices.
Cash4books offered to buy a book from me based on the ISBN number. I shipped to them and now they say the ISBN number was wrong but listed the same book I sent. Refuse to pay me and then want to charge me to ship it back. They say they will recycle if I'd like them too. This is a scam to get peoples books for free. I want my book back since they do not plan to uphold their end of the bargain.
We offered a quote for the student edition of Writing & Speaking at Work (5th Edition). We received an instructor's edition (see attached photo).
The customer contacted us via email and we responded with this information:
