Customer had vehicle towed in on 7/24/since it had been leaking antifreeze and overheatingDiagnosis showed that water pump was leaking coolant excessively and front crank seal was leaking oil excessively coating serpentine belt with oil causing belt to slipWe replaced water pump and
front crank seal components along with cleaning belt, performing oil and filter change, and coolant flushCustomer refused to have serpentine belt replacedAll was running well when customer made final payment on services and picked up truck on 8/25/with 131,milesCustomer called on 9/25/stating that vehicle was starting to get hot againWe then performed pressure test on vehicle after filling with coolantRadiator reservoir was empty and cap offAntifreeze is splashed all over front end of vehicleNo leaks are found in systemSuspect that radiator cap is not holding correct pressure causing spray across front of vehicleAt this time also recommend that thermostat be replaced since it controls water flow through engine and may not be working correctly along with serpentine belt and serpentine belt tensioner due to the possibility that belt may be slipping and tensioner may not have enough pressure on it to turn pulley of water pump at correct speedCustomer declines repairs to be made at this timeVehicle has 132,miles on itNo issues were found with water pump or crankshaft seal from first repair and are currently working correctly. Customer has been driving vehicle and has put on miles since initial repair

To whom it may concern, My name is [redacted],  I'm the sales manager of McKnight tire. I would like to talk about the customer   Mr. [redacted] [redacted] concern he may have had regarding his vehicle. Mr. [redacted] brought his 1997 Chevrolet Tahoe in our shop for the first...

time April 11 2017. Mr. [redacted]  called us on that day asking about if we do electrical testing on vehicles? We said yes? What's the concern your having Mr. [redacted]  , per our conversation, customer states front turn signals are blinking fast & rear brake light's not working at all. Customer then explained that right rear brake lamp assembly has been replaced by customer with an aftermarket lens & also a original equipment lamp assembly. Customer then states that neither lamp assembly has worked or changing bulbs. So at 1 pm on April 11th we brought in Mr. [redacted] car , our service technician started electrical testing diagnostic.  We verified that we found damaged at socket on right rear lamp , we repaired socket to bulb and the contacts tabs that were bent. We then tested power at fuses , found a 20 amp fuse blown, replaced fuse and now all lights are working currently . We charged customer for only diagnostic time & fixing damage socket & replacing blown fuse. Total $105.58 with tax. Customer called 04/17/17 talk to us about right side brake lamp is out again. Told Mr. [redacted] that come on in today , well take another look. After car made in the shop , found blown bulb on right rear lamp assembly. We replaced bulb using our inventory at no charge to Mr. [redacted] . Customer was told that we found bulb burnt out & bulb was replaced free today. Customer never asked me or anyone on sales floor for refund from previous time car was in shop. He never called or talked to me personally about this concern from previous repair job. We would be more then happy to either work with in Mr. [redacted] on this matter by having a our best electrical technician on testing this out at no charge to customer or if customer declined that we would be willing to refund some of the time we have from previous repair. We will do every effort to make Mr. [redacted] satisfied and work with him on either choice by himAny questions or concerns please ask meThank you [redacted]McKnight tire  1909 north providence rd Columbia Mo 65202573-442-6178
