I hired Basim from hands of Gold services LLC to finish our basement Basim the owner of Hands of Gold Services LLC did very good job on finishing our basement and Basim was very good on the detailed of that walk-through at the end of the project and Basim was making sure we are 100% satisfied project was done on time and meet our budget I do recommend Basim and his Crew for all of your interior and exterior remodeling as a matter fact We are pleased with his work and we even hired him to remodel our master bedroom We recommend Basim to anyone Thinking on remodeling their homes
The owner of hands of gold has taken advantage of me I'm years old and had *** build a carport and concret work done which has been a nightmare he's been paid in full plus more he won't finish the work his workmanship is terrible I can't get him to do anything he promised to do
Completed the work as requestedThey repainted the exterior of the building, repaired gutters, repaired fascia and trim around the windowsWe were pleased with the finished product and would hire again in the future! We recommend them highly
*** *** was to remove my old deck and install a new *** deck with lighting to replace it He asked for 50% down which is excessive and was to be paid the balance on completion Original fixed priced bid was $10,but upgraded to $20,for the *** deck He was paid $10,to start (down) Later said he needed an additional $4,for materials During the course of the work he kept borrowing on the balance stating he needed it for materials He made numerous mistakes in the deck construction which are now being corrected by me at my additional expense The new deck was promised by July He walked off the job in mid-August leaving the new deck unfinished and needing extensive repairs Because of the flawed work and deck not completed, as a minimum he needs to return $12,to me immediately
This company charged me dollars to build a car port which has leaked from day one they came out or times to fix it but could not fiqure out what the problem was , I called another roofing coTo look at it they found the problem right away and now it's going to cost me another four thousand dollars to fix it the right wayI would not let Hands of Gold do anything else for me they are not to be trusted

He used a different name for his company, to avoid the issue of the original company nameThis was my problem, I often deal from my heart rather than my head, with people I feel sorry for*** ** * *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** I thought, like many similar *** ***, he was a skilled and honest craftsmanHe turned out to be a lying thief and incompetentThe contract was for $7K, with $4K down to cover material, and a projected day work schedule for completionThat turned int nearly weeksHelpers were evidently rather dim types who often requested to use house bathroom and locked themselves in for up to minutes +By the second day, he began to dismantle a nearby retaining wall for blocks for the project, telling me I really did not need the wall and he needed the blocks for the perimeterI told him I already paid for all the materials, he smiled and pointed out that this was the "extra costs as determined by contractor" that was a clause in the contractI figured at $per block at *** *** (minus his discount), I was looking at under $extraHe charged $per block for an extra $Now, the nightmare part; I figured him for a craftsman and experienced builder, the way he described himselfHE FILLED IN THE POND MOSTLY WITH SAND, NOT ROAD GRADE OR GRAVEL AS DIRECTED BY ALL COUNTY DEPARTMENTSHe placed cement pavers corner to corner on top of this sand pitAfter weeks of him and his *** *** crew, on days, car loads of mentally deficient men parked in the street outside with hopes of coming in to do work, he finally completed, way past the contracted days for the jobI was gladly finished with this manWithin weeks, the disaster of his incompetence became clear; the sand structure shifted and the whole deck started to warpThen, some early rain and snow came in, AND IT MELTED AND FLOWED TOWARDS THE HOUSEI realized I was dealing with a potentially serious hazard, severe water seepage towards the foundation, not away from itI called in an engineer neighbor whom I intended to put together a gazebo kit, he used a level to determine that the entire cement deck was constructed TWO DEGREES TOWARDS THE HOUSEHe told me that within 2-years of rain and snow, I would face an inevitable structural problem under the houseThe whole thing had to be re-done to slant water flow away from the foundationsI contacted Sawaged and told him the problemHis response was that I need to wait for a year or to see how the deck settled in, not to construct a gazebo in that time, and after a couple of years, if it became a problem, he could sit down with me and write a new contract to resolve it!!!I was flabbergasted at his arrogance and gall! I am a person who owns his own blunders and clear mistakes, I gave the guy a break to take the job, out of good will, and got royally burnedMy mistake, no one else'sThe entire reconstruction, a far better and more attractive outcome came in at about $3500, supervised by the engineer friendHe then charged $to put together the gazebo, the final result is very attractive and functionalNow it gets even worse on Sawaged's part; As the new reconstruction is completing, very early in the morning, I hear someone going in the side gate to the back yardI figure it is the engineer supervising the new job coming in earlyI look out of the window for his truck, and instead see what looks like Sawaged's van driving off, very fastApparently, he went in and expropriated one of my holiday folding tables, leaving in such a hurry, he left the gate wide openThis is not just a shoddy contractor, this is a grossly incompetent contractor and a thiefI pray others who got burned by him come forward as well
