Facility offering education, coaching and services to the general public to help each understand how to heal, as well as maintaining physical beauty.As it relates to [redacted] and the Groupon promotional purchase of 6 Lipo Laser, I would like to emphasize that we offered a full service of Lipo Laser Light session for approx. 88% discount off its true value. In addition, appointments are subject to availability, as indicated on the promotion.To address the complaint in order of presentation -According to our policy as posted online and displayed on our wall in the reception area:1. Appointments are subject to availability and should be respected. Each client is important and deserve to be attended to promptly when they have an appointment. Late arrivals interfere with the flow and it is not fair to those who arrive on time, when they have to wait.2. 10 minutes grace period is further explained in our Policies & Procedures posted; that it is subject to our discretion, whereby a reschedule or reduced time is the policy.3. Lipo Laser is not designed for weight loss, but proven successful in centimeter or inch reduction, especially in individuals who follow a healthy active lifestyle.4. Because fat cells are reduced, they must be eliminated via waste removal mechanisms of the body which relies on sufficient fluid intake and an active lifestyle, hence we encourage water consumption comparable to body weight.5. The Lipo Laser Lights is a superficial (non-invasive) procedure, not a medical procedure, hence it is not a requirement for us to advise abstinence from consuming meals. However, as the manufacturers of the equipment suggests, result is more likely with abstinence from coffee and increased activity within 30 minutes with sufficient water consumption. We receive enough push-back from some clients when we suggests these minor changes, hence we prefer not to insist on anyone not eating, unless we are privy to detailed health issues or concerns, when invited.As it relates to the appointments and the broken paddles:1. Our equipment are factory set for 20 minutes, and each time we allow a client 30 minutes, that time has to be over-ridden which is a choice me made for all clients, to go above and beyond to satisfy. Hence, a reduction by 10 minutes due to lateness is not a contraindication, but still within the pre-set specifications.2. [redacted] said the equipment was broken. However, at that point in time that was a temporary problem due to a loosening of the sockets of two paddles. In addition, her session did not necessitate 14 paddles because it is normal procedure, to place each paddle vertically approximately 1 inch apart across the targeted area, which would only account for approximately 50 % of the paddles she received. Still, the assistants took the extra paddles and distributed them on the circumference of her body. This again was an act of going above and beyond to please the client. She actually received more benefits than protocol required.3. According to our records and Surveillance system , [redacted] and her friend who is also a client on similar promotional purchases, arrived 11:15 a.m. on 12/** and 11:13 a.m. on 12/**, after their scheduled time of 11:00 am. They were both allowed their sessions despite these observations. However, although both were in the same position, her companion was cooperative.It is very unfortunate that I was not available to speak with [redacted], as I was not in office. However, the assistants brought the experience to my attention and in my estimation protocol was observed.As your office is certainly aware; this is the only complaint to your office from any client. I do apologize for any misunderstanding and inconvenience [redacted] experienced and must assure her that should she consider any of our services in the future, I will be more than happy to sit with her directly prior to any procedure.Our vision is to provide excellent services to bring about healing and restoration to any individual needing our guidance, as we practice holistic health and encourage natural approach to allow the body to heal itself.Judith M[redacted]General Manager
