Review: in april 2013, I hired this company to build a small custom inground pool with concrete patio and pavers with a stone wall. 15 years prior I was going to use this company for the same pool until my wife (ex) changed her mind. I stayed loyal and after I found out this guy was still doing pools, I canceled an appointment with a very large company because of loyalty. The job started out with permit problems. Since he was not licensed on Maryland, the wait for approval would have taken too long. He asked if I could get the permit and say I was building the pool, which I did. The pool came out beautiful and the concrete and paver deck and wall as well. When the time came to do the fence and finished the balance of the other paver work he lost interest. The fence never got finished. Half of the post holes wernt filled in. It is crooked and wobbly and a 1 foot long section is missing. This guy came and closed the pool and started to finish the missing section. It was not finished. During the winter our dog got into the pool area and chewed holes thru some of the water bags holding the cover down. This resulted in (without my knowledge), the cover blowing off the edge of the pool and now it is filled with leaves and the water is green. It looks like a swamp For one, the cover wasnt wide enough to even fully cover the boulder waterfall. The paver patio at the house is unfinished and the walkway to the pool is on a slant and very slippery when wet. I complained before it was finished and he proceded to finish it anyway telling me "trust me" and afterwards I asked him to fix that also which wasnt done. I paid about 60K to him for this unfinished, shabby project. He also didnt do the plaster and I had to hire another company and schedule the water delivery as well. There is a receptacle that he said is required for code which isnt done and also a small cover on an outside electric elbow.....All fall and winter he promised to come and finish. I also paid for steps that ended up to be a minimum effort.Desired Settlement: finish the project entireley since he was paid in full last august.......the fence, the unfinished opening in the paver patio by the house, the paver walkway, the electric. I wanted paver steps into the house and didnt get anywhere near what I paid for. Exchange the money difference from the steps to open the pool. I also feel that all the leaves and sm in the pool is on him since he didnt finish the fence and the dog got in. Also to finally be shown how all the valves, etc work.
