Review: The company continues to deliver poor service; unfortunately because they installed my irrigation system, I'm forced to continue to do business with this company for maintenance work. They are never on time; appointments arranged by McLean Irrigation are either 2 hours or more late than the timeframe promised or there is a no show.

Even when you call the business line, the majority of time I get an answering machine, but can never leave a message because the mailbox is full.

When they initially installed my service it failed the plumbing inspection and they had to come back out to address the issue which required me to take off work unexpectedly.

This business provides subpar service and has horrible customer service. I would not recommend this company to anyone.Desired Settlement: Revdex.com rating should be severely downgraded

Review: I have a contract with this vendor to activate and deactivate the irrigation system in my home. The contract was renewed in October. In March I received a postcard to schedule the reactivation service call, I chose April 16th and mail it back. They never showed on the 16th and I have been trying to get a hold of them since.

Initially the calls were not answered, then the voice box was full and not taking messages, then they completely shut down stating the office was closed until APril 29th. I was able to get a hold of a technician who had come to my house last year. He stated he was no longer working for the company but that he would give my message to Jessi, the said GM of the business. I spoke with [redacted] 4 times each time he reiterated he had given another message to [redacted]. No call was ever returned to me. I am leaving on a trip on Monday the 29th and have a large party on May 2nd. These guys have not lived up to their contract and left me in a lurch. I am also seeing damage to my landscape which is suffering from lack of watering.Desired Settlement: They need to come and restart the irrigation system and will have to replace any plant that has died due to lack of water.

Review: [redacted] is successor to McLean Irrigation at the same addr4ss and phone. We have a 2-yr contract with McLean and [redacted] did perform the Spring startup of the irrigation system last month. But the technician left a water valve open in our basement which resulted in flooding and a $89 bill to have the problem resolved. Since then I have repeatedly called the [redacted] number and gotten only a voice mail and no response. Today when calling that number, the message is "sorry your call did not go through....".I have two complaints: basement flooding by their technician and no response to phone calls; and concern that the remaining time (about six months) on a pre-paid two-year contract will not be honored. In addition, the truck that came to do the work last month said that the firm was "[redacted] Irrigation," but I cannot find any such firm on the internet.Desired Settlement: Reimbursement for the $89 charge to resolve the flooding caused by the firm, and a reimbursement for the remaining time on the contract ($50)or a firm agreement that the contract will be honored.

Review: Greeting,

In late Fall of last year, I have signed a contract with a family owned company in VA to install un underground Sprinkler Irrigation system at my home in [redacted] MD. I paid in full. The signed contract was to include as follow:

1. Installation of complete system including the sub-meter, plus 2 years of turn-on/off service.

2. Installation of landscape lighting.

3. Providing 3 years of warranty of the service.

The company completed the installation of the irrigation system and lighting; However, they didn't install the sub-meter (due to various reason!).

Late of last year, I received a promissory note by email/phone to promise to install the sub-meter in early Spring of this year; But, I can't make them to fulfill their singed contract until now.

After numerous attempts of contacting, on April 23rd, 2013, the company sent two technicians to my home to turn on the system but failed! One technician introduced himself as a new President of the company; he came inside the house and broke accidentally one of the valse on the system. He had told me then that he would make another trip and will fix broken valse and install a sub-meter. I have not received any followed up from the company since April 23rd until now.I have tried numerous phone calls and emails but got no where! Thus, I want to file a formal complaint to this company.

Can you help? Thank you very much.

Regards,

[redacted]Desired Settlement: I want to install the sub-meter and fix the system. In addition, turn on the system in Spring before the Summer begin. I can't use the system nor service at this time. Thank you.

Review: I have a maintenance contract to open and close our irrigation system. The phone numbers listed are disconnected and there is no way to contact the business to honor their contract.Desired Settlement: I want them to honor the contract or refund the money.

Review: Mclean Irrigation recently changed their name to [redacted] irrigation. It is the same company but under a different name. My complaint involves credit for prepaid services. I prepaid for sesonal maintenance in Fall of 2012. That was to include two service visits (one Fall and one Spring). The Fall one was used in 2012, but the spring service was not used in 2013. On December 12, 2013, I recived an invoice for Fall 2013 and Spring 2014 for $170. Because I did not have the system turned on in the Spring, I should have received credit for the Fall of 2013.

I have phone the company numerous times. Most calls went unanswered and when I did reach some one, twice they said someone would return my call - but they never did. On January 31, 2014, I sent the company a note regarding this complaint. The company has not replied.Desired Settlement: Show credit for service not used. Current balance should be $0.
