Review: In my 30+ years of leading large groups of students to destinations all over the east coast, I have never experience such incompetent driving or worse customer service as we did three weeks ago with McLean Bus Company.The three drivers were incredibly incompetent; they showed up 40 minutes late to pick us up in Baltimore's Inner Harbor when they were only parked 2 blocks away, thus making us late for a scheduled performance. They couldn't follow a map or itinerary, got lost constantly, and didn't communicate with each other. The lead driver didn't even have the other drivers' phone numbers. BTW, this was in Maryland, where the company is based. We arrived in the 5th inning of the Nats game because the driver took the wrong route and got lost. One of the buses broke down and delayed our return home. Antifreeze leaked in one of the luggage bays on the way home, which damaged our uniforms and equipment. Now the company is balking at reimbursing us, even implied I was lying about the dry cleaning bill. Horrible service, terrible management.Desired Settlement: At the least, we would like compensation for cleaning of our uniforms ($67, replacement of the stained bass case ($490), and an apology for insulting me for asking for compensation for the damage their equipment caused.

Dear Revdex.com,Ms. Laura Thomas of Charlottesvilles School hire McLean Bus Service April 25-27 2014 to do a three day tour in Washington, DC. At the time of hire she was provided all driver's information (for security request) she was also provided our 24 hour dispatcher's number. Ms. Thomas sent an email on May 2, 2014 regarding her dissatisfaction with the service during her three day tour. Taken back by her concerns because we did not hear from her or any of the Charlottsville's staff attending the trip during the three days. We immediately responded to her email/concerns. (email attached).We sincerely tried to resolve this matter in a timely fashion; however, she became very unbearable to deal with. It became in my opinion harrassment. The constant phone calls, emails and threats that she made good on. She discredit our company on social media and of course the formal complaint with Revdex.com.We asked for receipts and pictures and I guess that made her upset. Once we had received the cleaners receipt she was unset because I called the cleaners to verify her $67.00 receipt and they mentioned that there were 3 shirts that had a faint small of anti-freeze.I have attached our letter of apology and the cleaners receipt I questioned. She wanted to be paid the new price for the bag and mentioned it was brought a year or two ago and I told her we would pay half of the $490.00 she was asking for do to depreciation.If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact us.Thank you,McLean Bus Service

I am rejecting this response because:Leaking antifreeze soaked our possessions while in a McLean Bus Co. cargo bay. McLean Bus Company has not compensated us for that damage, despite being provided with photographic evidence and receipts. The driver of our bus can verify the authenticity of our claim as well, but the company doesn't seem to be interested in the truth. Perhaps in an effort to deflect responsibility, they have impugned my integrity and have lied about steps the company has taken. For example, I was never offered half the cost to replace our damaged bass bag. The $67 itemized cleaning bill was faxed to McLean Bus Company by the Charlottesville HS bookkeeper, so McLean Bus Co. knows exactly what the bill covered (the cleaning of three entire tuxedo sets--jacket, shirt, pants, cummerbund, and tie). The claim that the bill was only for three shirts is ludicrous.
