This company was hired (summer 2015) to build a deck at our home in Hubbard, TXThe most important stipulations were safety, ease of use, and the ability to support a large hot tubIt met none of these requirementsI stressed the importance of the safety rails because my young grandchildren are frequent visitors, and the fact that it would need to be strong enough to support a large hot tubI contacted Matt Monroe several times to get them back over & redo the work, to no availMy husband had to dismantle and rebuild much of the deckWe are disgusted with this situation
The company owner, Matt M[redacted], came to my house gave me an estimate for tiling our kitchen floor, back splash, hall bathroom and shower, master bathroom and shower and utility room. Also plumbing work in the house. He started the work in October and at the end of November the only work done was the kitchen floor and utility room. The grout was not finished in the kitchen. He attempted to tile and grout the hall bathroom wall and started the shower. Tiles were crooked on the wall and shower, mortar all over the tiles and bathtub. I paid him $670 so he could make payroll. Never saw him again. My attorney contacted him and Matt emailed saying he was going to come finish the bathroom and then wanted nothing to do with us after completing the job. 5 months later, he has still not come to finish the job.
