Review: I purchased a used 2006 Thor, Grand Junction 5th Wheel (RV). I put a $,2000 deposit and have already made one payment for the month of December in the amount of $210.00 I've made several attempts to schedule a delivery of the 5th wheel to my residence (agreed in the purchase contract)yet would not receive returned calls or would be told that they would check with their transportation department and call me back with a delivery date...no returned calls. After multiple attempts and weeks of attempting communication, I finally made a trip out to the RV dealer on 12/20/13 at approximately 1:00pm to find out why they aren't contacting me. The gentleman that I've been speaking with over the phone ([redacted]) was not there so I spoke with another salesman by the name of [redacted] who took the time to help me locate the RV that I purchased. Upon inspecting the RV, I noticed they haven't fulfilled their part of the contract which was to detail the RV in and out as well as replace a broken cabinet overhead door. The RV was no different than over a month ago when I purchased it! At this point, I was pretty upset and asked to speak to a manager to express my discontentment and hopefully obtain a concrete date of delivery. To my surprise, the manager told [redacted] that he did not have the time to speak to me, even though he was only speaking to a salesman. At this point, I was mad and demanded a full refund of my deposit and first payment to [redacted]. Once [redacted] realized the degree of my frustration, he had the general manager, [redacted] speak with me. [redacted] said that he didn't know what happened and that he would look into it, I told him that I was not interested in proceeding with this transaction and said that I want my money back. He asked that I give him a moment to look up the file...he never returned. Rather than talking to me, he sent [redacted] to try to convince me to change my mind. I told [redacted] to notify [redacted] to call me...no call. I emailed [redacted]...no reply. Please help! Thank you.Desired Settlement: Please have McMahons RV refund what I've paid which is my $2,000.00 deposit and first payment of $210.00. I am not requesting anything else, just my money back. Thank you.

Response:

We have communicated with the customer and there was some miscommunication on when the customers area would be made ready for the RV to be set at and there was an internal error of the communication when the coach was to be delivered. The customer has agreed to and has accepted delivery of the coach and as customer good will we have extended an olive branch of an undisclosed amount and the customer is satisfied. The coach has been detailed and the items fixed.

Review: On 1/31/14 my wife, [redacted], and I purchased an RV from McMahon's RV in California. We also purchased a 7 year extended warranty for $4595. The warranty number is MRV1-[redacted] issued from [redacted]. We have subsequently sold the motor home we purchased from McMahon's RV and have unsuccessfully tried to contact them for a refund of $4595. I have spoken with [redacted] from [redacted] in Texas and she informed that McMahon's RV did not send the money to them. As a result the extended warranty is not valid and we can not get a refund. We want our money ($4595) back. How may we proceed to get our money from McMahon's RV? Is the company still in business? Has the company filed for bankruptcy?Desired Settlement: A refund of the $4595.

Review: My Husband and I had attended McMahon's RV show in pomona this past saturday 1/11/14 and signed a contract to purchase one of their "toy hauler" Trailers. We were told that after the show we would be dealing with the westminster location. Our sales person was [redacted] and Finance was [redacted]... We were told the loan would be submitted the following monday, That [redacted] from finance would give us a call when he was submitting the paperwork to the bank. He assured us of this and that we would have our final answer no later than tuesday afternoon and we would receive a call form him at that time also. No call was made by him Monday so I text messaged his personal number he gave us asking about the status and he replied "Still working on it". I answered "Ok thanks" and that ended the conversation that evening. Tuesday we still had not received any call so I text messaged [redacted] again asking for any progress or word. There was no answer and still no call so I Called the dealership and talked to a manager named [redacted]. He assured me that [redacted] would give me a call in 10 minutes to discuss everything. There was again NO CALL from him or anyone. I called the dealership almost 2 hours later and was transferred back to the manager [redacted] and he did not answer. Since Tuesday I have called every day multiple times a day asking for [redacted] AND [redacted] and there has never been an answer or call back. It is Thursday afternoon now and my last call I made today I asked for the general manager of this location and HE DID NOT ANSWER as well. I can not believe this is how they run their buisness. no courtesy call, no answers to my text messages or voicemails. They have ALL of our tax, credit and pay stub information. I'm afraid of what is happening to my credit as I type this. SO UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!Desired Settlement: I WOULD LIKE A CALL BACK FROM THE COMPANY AND INFORMATION AS TO WHAT HAPPENED WITH THE LOAN. I WANT THIS COMPANY TO CALL AND EXPLAIN THE REASON FOR THEIR HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND BUSINESS ETHIC. IF ACTION IS NOT TAKEN VERY SOON WE WILL BE INVOLVING OUR LAWYER AND WE WILL TAKE ACTION.

Response:

Unfortunately we were not able to secure a loan for the customer. Generally the customer's that have credit challenges take more time to get approved.

The customer was communicated to by the time the Revdex.com complaint was posted.

Review: We purchased a new RV from this dealership on 9/21/2013. As a part of that contract, McMahon RV accepted our 2012 Forest River trailer as a trade-in and agreed thru the contract to pay off the balance of the trailer for the amount of $14,500. As of 12/26/13, that loan still has not been paid off, despite several attempts contacting the dealer. We have been making two RV payments since October, and we have stated to McMahon RV that this is causing a financial hardship. Their response is "they are behind on their loan pay-offs and that we are next on their list", that was over three weeks ago. I also received a letter from my credit union requesting that we provide insurance on the 2012 Forest River trailer. We called our insurance agent to see if we could add temporary coverage back on until McMahon's pays off our loan. Our insurance agent informed us that McMahon's has already sold our trade-in to someone else and the title is in someone else's name. How can they do this? My credit union is still the legal lien holder for this trailer since they are financing it. This dealership seems to operating with some 'shady' contract procedures and we want other consumers and the Revdex.com to be aware of this.Desired Settlement: We want our trade-in loan to be payed off and expect reimbursement for the finance charges that we have accrued over the past three months. Or they can return our trade-in and we will GLADLY return the new RV that we purchased from them.

Review: I [redacted] and [redacted] purchased A 2014 Crusader 5th Wheel from McMahons RV on 11/10/2013. They used our 2013 [redacted] travel trailer as a trade which we had purchased it from them on 7/07/2013. We signed off the 2013 [redacted] to them on 11/10/2013 and we were told that they would be paying it off. On 12/16/2013 [redacted] made a call to [redacted] because we got a late notice from Bank of the West that we were late on are Nov 28 2013 payment for the [redacted] we had traded in. [redacted] took the information of the Bank and loan number and made a payment and called me back to give me the confirmation number and said he would take care of this issue. I called the Bank today 12/30/2013 to see if it had been paid off and they told me NO and the payment was late again. I called [redacted] today 12/30/2013 and his response was I'll look into it and get back to you. I take pride in my credit and I feel they are going to damage it. I have never seen a company managed this way that states they our the #1 RV dealer in Ca. We don't know how to resolve this issue. Please help.Thank you [redacted] and NolaDesired Settlement: How do we handle this issue.

Review: I purchased a 2006 Monaco Windsor RV from McMahon RV on 1/26/14, and traded in our 2004 Itasca Meridian towards this purchase. The Itasca was resold approximately 2 days after it was traded in. To this date, McMahon's has not paid off the loan (which by law is to be paid within 20 days) on our Meridian, nor sent the title to US Bank (where our new loan is assigned) for the Monaco so that we can register the coach. Consequently, we are still responsible for the loan on the Itasca which we no longer have. They also collected the $14,000 for a 4-year extended warranty with USA Care, and provided us with complimentary towing coverage with Coach Net. Neither of these companies have record of coverage with these policies. Warranty department said it was held up in their premium department awaiting payment from McMahon's. The repairs that were agreed upon at time of purchase could not be completed when we took possession, and we were told to go to Colton, CA for the repairs. We made the appointment and gave them full details, left the coach at Colton's McMahon RV for the day, and returned at 4pm as requested. None of the repairs were handled, and they said they did not have a written work order, but that we should take it to another repair facility and have it fixed under our warranty. We tried to get satisfaction from the manager where purchased for this, but did not succeed. I spent an entire day stripping out and replacing the caulking on the roof in order to stop any leakage in the event of rain.Desired Settlement: Would like the above matters taken care of so we can get insurance, registration, and repairs. GE Commercial Distribution and Finance has locked their doors by court order and taken control. I would like to be reimbursed for all the time and stress making multiphone calls and emails to resolve this issue, and coverage for any repairs that come about as a result of the warranty not being in place, as well as the negative impact on our credit rating while we cannot make payments on both coaches.

Review: Trade-in of 2010 GMC Sierra pickup truck a balance owe to Ally Finance company in the amount of $ 15,836.00 has not been paid by McMahons RV. I am still making payments to Ally Finance Co. so that I can keep my good credit. However I am paying on a vehicle that I no longer have.Desired Settlement: I want MaMahons RV to pay off Ally Finance as stated in sales contract.

Review: Bought a 5th wheel on 2/26/14 on their lot in Parker, AZ. We were told that it was prewired for satellite, solar and generator and that they would supply us with a second battery. Found out not prewired for generator and they agreed to credit $795.00. We then found the same coach for $10,000.00 less on line and they agreed to price match less the credit. PDI was not done properly and 2nd battery was not there but we were told they would take care of it. 3 days later they changed their mind. Have tried calling and emailing for a month to get some customer service and no one will respond. Now my license and registration is expiring and still I cannot get anyone to call me back. The voice mail is full so cannot even leave a message. Had to go to MVD and PAY to get an extension. I feel the salesmen were deceptive and would promise anything to make the sale. This company had no communication or customer service skills. I have email documentation and a log of phone calls.Desired Settlement: I would like to have the second battery that was supposed to be included in the sale and I would like to be reimbursed for having to go to MVD to get an extension for my license and registration. Furthermore I would like to have a letter of apology from the company for ignoring all of my attempts to get what was promised to me, for their lack of service after the sale and for making no attempt whatsoever to satisfy an unhappy customer.

Review: McMahon's advertised a used vehicle as 19 feet. As it turns out the vehicle is 22 1/2 feet. We advised them immediately of their error and that we will not purchase the vehicle due to the error in advertising length. Told we already owned the vehicle, not true. We test drove the vehicle two times with a salesman in the vehicle the whole time. McMahon's is now claiming that our test drive constitutes possession of the vehicle. We signed paperwork but never took possession of this vehicle. Vehicle is and always was on their lot. McMahon's is not following the California DMV Car Buyer's Bill of Rights, as well. We were promised that before we took possession that we would have a vehicle inspection, never done. McMahon's is refusing to cancel the fraudulent deal.Desired Settlement: We never possessed this vehicle, we will not take possession of this vehicle. We wish for McMahon's to dismiss this entire ordeal. They have continued to advertise the vehicle, so they are not at any financial loss.

Response:

McMahon’s RV disagrees with the factual circumstances alleged by the [redacted]’. In actuality, the [redacted]’ had ample time to test drive and inspect the coach, signed a Retail Installment Sale Contract and tendered a down payment to purchase the coach, then drove the coach off the dealership lot with a report of sale properly affixed to the coach’s window. The coach was subsequently returned for minor repair work. Later, the [redacted] returned to the dealership with a bible in one hand and an iPad in the other hand and illegally recorded a conversation with a representative of McMahon’s RV at which time Mr. [redacted] expressed buyer’s remorse and uttered a litany of excuses to unwind the deal. The [redacted] further stopped payment on the check they tendered as the down payment, without cause, and in violation of state law.

There is no cooling off period in the State of California and that disclosure is prominently contained on the Retail Installment Sale Contract the [redacted] signed. Further, their purported dispute over the length of the vehicle is meritless because the coach does in fact fit within the confines of their extended driveway. This is a simple case of buyer’s remorse and the customer is looking to improperly utilize the Revdex.com to extort the dealership into unwinding the deal.

Review: We purchased a 2005 class A motor home on March 30 2014 and still haven't received our DMV tags, which were due in April2014, or registration. I have been to DMV two times since my purchase and I was told thqt they need a released title and proof that there aren't any liens against the RV. Bank of America holds the title. I am financing the RV through Ally Financial and they also need the title. I bought the RV in good faith and wasn't aware that McMahons hadn't paid off B of A until I was informed by DMV. I also paid for an extended warranty but McMahon's never paid the extended warranty company. I have called numerous numbers and talked to several people but no one was able to help.Desired Settlement: I would like to get my license plate tags and registration. If not they have $15000,00 of my money,$4500.00 from my trailer trade in,plus I'm about to make another payment to Ally Financial for my loan which totals roughly $16,500.00

Review: I purchased a new RV in Dec 2013 from the McMahon RV Fairground Show in Pomona. The salesperson (Clint) was from the Palm Desert dealership. He assured me that I would receive the best and quickest service from the Palm Desert service department, even though there were two other locations closer to me. I Called the Palm Desert dealership and asked for the service department. A man answered that claimed to be [redacted] I explained that I needed an appointment to fix some minor issues on the RV. I was told to bring it in on Jan 18, 2014. I made the three hour drive and walked into the service department. They did not know who I was or why I was there. I asked to speak to [redacted] The man I was speaking with said he was [redacted] He stated he had never spoken to me or given me an appointment for service. I said I spoke to someone on the phone that claimed to be [redacted] He said, "Oh, they did that again." I said, "Did what?" He said the operators working the phones have been claiming to be him and have been telling customers they have appointments when they don't. Tom agreed to perform the service and stated it should take about 2 weeks. It has now been 7 weeks. I have made numerous phone calls that go straight to an answering machine. I have spoken to Tom three times and have been assured that everything is being worked on and should be completed soon. The repairs were very minor. It should have been a quick repair with very minimal labor. I called three times today (March 7) and spoke to a male operator. I asked why I keep getting transferred to an answering machine in a very assertive and displeased tone. The man then proceeded to cuss me out. I asked to speak to the manager and was hung up on. I called back and spoke to the manager (Adam Goldberg) to register my complaint. He assured me that he would look into the problem and resolve the issues. My complaint is poor customer service and failure to complete repairs in a timely and promised manner. I've had to cancel 3 planned family trips already.Desired Settlement: I want the RV repairs completed immediately and satisfactorily. I want the staff better trained and held accountable for their performance and their actions.

The customer has picked up their coach and met with [redacted], the service manager, when they picked up and they went through everything.

There are parts still waiting to arrive and the customer agreed for us to ship the part (s) to them and they will install since they live 3 hours away.

Review: Okay. So I bought an RV (Eclipse Attitude FB19) or at least I thought I did. We agreed to terms of 238.00 a month and when I called to see if the trailer was ready for pick up they ([redacted]'s) told me that the payment went up a bit to 343 a month. Now this is after we signed shook hands and agreed to the terms I mentioned above. Now I just want my 200.00 deposit back but they haven't done so even though I've called and left [redacted]t a couple of messages including telling them that I would take this to the Revdex.com, but still no response. It seems that these folks are not fair and should not be trusted.Tank you for your time.Desired Settlement: I want my 200.00 dollars back ASAP.

Response:

The customer has been contacted and his $200.00 was credited back to his card.

Review: McMahons do not payoff money owed to the bank. 3 months ago I purchase a new RV from McMahons RV, in turn they were to payoff old RV to B of A, a great run around no payoff.Desired Settlement: Pay off RV [redacted] Keystone payoff to B of A

Review: I bought a travel trailer from McMahon's RV. They installed all the brake assist and everything related to the connection to my truck. The brakes on the truck keep locking up. I brought the trailer and truck by and they made an adjustment that helped, but I'm constantly adjusting the brake assist. It justs feels like a very dangerous situation with the brakes locking up. I was also under the impression the power outlets worked off the house battery, but now I found out it has to be connected to the outside 110, which was never told to me in the orientaion. Based on the situation, I've asked the dealer for a refund and that I would like to walk away from the trailer. They keeep telling me there's no cooling off period in California. When reading about the cooling off period, it reads that you cannot change your mind if you don't want the vehicle, decide you want something different, or decide the vehcle is too expensive. I don't want the vehicle anymore because it's an unsafe situation, and I don't feel comfortable driving. I've even asked if there were any other alternative solutions to me getting a refund. The person told me they could do a consignment, but that's very expensive and I would lose a lot of money. I been trying to work with them and when I asked them to send me the details on doing a consignment, they keep telling me they will call me back. I'm willing to work with the dealer, I'm just tired of being ignored.Desired Settlement: Ideally I would like a refund for my down payment and walk away from the trailer completely. I would be willing to work on an alternative solution if the dealer would call me back.
