THE REASON IT TOOK LONG TO REFUND WAS BECAUSE I WAS OUT OF TOWN FOR THE THREE WEEKSI JUST GOT BACK ON SATURDAYTHE ACCOUNT HAS BEEN CREDITED.

We had a big group with rooms reserved for that nightWith that we had no vacancyWhen the big group all checked in, we realized that there were rooms for them, so one became available
When the guest called and asked if there were any rooms, the desk clerk said that there is one
room availableThe guest said that she will be here within to minutes and that she was driving so she will just get hereAccording to the guest she was passing by the *** *** ***
After waiting for two hours, the guest did not show upAfter the two hours had gone by, the clerk released that room to someone else that came as a walk inThe desk clerk held that room for more than two hours

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: The clerk never asked for any time for me to arrive. I offered to pay for the room with my credit card and the clerk informed me that, she was the only one working and I didn't have to pay until I arrived. I also informed the clerk that it was heavy traffic and I was stopping at the casino to feed my children and we should arrive in 2 hours. When I arrived to check in the clerk stated that she went on break and the other worker felt sorry for a couple and she gave our room away. There was no mention of me being late. I asked the clerk what was the procedure of booking a room. She explained that she informed the worker that a lady with a southern accent called to reserve a room and when she returned from break then the room was given away. I would like this employee terminated. All I'm asking for is the truth, I understand that she is covering for herself and people make mistakes but no only did she lie she was very rude and unprofessional. She also told me she sleeps in her car every night and it's not a big deal. As a parent the safely of my family is very important and it's clear that none of the staff at this business cares about safety and customers. I will follow this complaint up with an attorney based on the continued lies and not accepting accountability. Even the manager couldn't even apologize for this, he just continued to tell me I arrived late. If that was the case, why didn't the clerk so this reason when I checked in. Instead she begin to argue with me.Sincerely,[redacted]
