I contacted McMinnville Volkswagen and spoke with Ron, their service manager, to let him know that I was having my Touareg towed to them on 04/20/I explained how my car kept stalling out or shutting offRon called me at 2:pm on the 20th, after the technician had diagnosed that my primary fuel pump, needed to be replacedHe stated at this time it was not a cheap repair and they would need to order the partIf he ordered it today, it would arrive on Monday I asked what all of this was going to cost me and he responded, five hundred twenty five dollars ($525.00), parts and labor, out the door
I received the call from Ron on 04/26/that my car was finished and I told him I would be there around 3:to pick it upI went to the receptionist, as Ron had instructed me to do, in our earlier conversationBarb presented me with my service invoice, total due of $720.33, not the quoted amount of $525.00, I was expecting I immediately told Barb this is not the amount I was told
